Hey everyone! This is just a really quick check-in because I am swaaamped with Real Life Things (tm).

I am currently editing chapter 8 of WSC. Like with the previous chapter, I have to add in some "No LI" options as well as just pull everything into alignment continuity wise, so that is what I've been working on.

Some of you already know that I've also been working on a small (very small) project with some developer friends for Amare Festival. And that's taken up a lot of my time this week to as we were trying to wrap up the writing and editing and get the project going code-wise.

Funnily enough, this is a little "late night" project I started before WSC. I got about 15,000 words written then kind of got distracted with WSC and, of course, Gilded Shadows development. So it's been sitting around since at least 2021 (maybe late 2020).

It was a very spontaneously conceived project that was based off a silly dream I had!

It's been really fun to see it finally get some love and attention - as well as the addition of other people and their visions for the project.

It's now just under 60,000 words (though we'd like to add the route for the third love interest. Just not for the initial release.)

The shortest project I've ever worked on!

It's a very light-hearted and playful Faerie tale where you play as a half-Fae who is experiencing human society for the first time. It's called a A Faerie's Tale and it should release at the end of the month for Amare Festival.

Anyway, that's it for now. I'll update again properly for my next devlog. I'm hoping to be entirely or almost done with Chapter 8 edit by then, but we'll see. Spouse is travelling again at the end of the week, which is always a huge distraction since I have to help him pack and get ready.
