Hallooo~oo! Time for this week's update. You're all going to be surprised to hear that I...edited.

Okay. That's not really a surprise...

This week I have been editing Chapter 7. I was really hoping I could find the time to be done editing this chapter this week but to be fair, this chapter is 76,000 words currently and is going to probably reach 80,000 words. (I know I said last week that it would end up at 75k...and I don't know why I said that other than that my math was...wrong. LoL I think sometimes I underestimate to make myself feel better about my word count. Idk).

So yeah. I'm about ¾ of the way done with Chapter 7 and I should wrap it up this week.

Over all, I have been fleshing out the character moments and bringing everything into alignment with the changes made during Asher's full edit.

So it's been a lot of expanding and fleshing out the character moments and action sequences.

So yeah. Still making progress!

New BG sketch and made a small update to Raif's sprite...namely, I decided he needed an eyeroll. LoL!

I love how VERY annoyed he looks. Ha ha. I'm looking forward to working this expression in to the already coded parts and using it throughout the game.

I will still be working hard to get Chapter 7 completed. It's about 80% revised so I'm close to done, but in a chapter this size, 20% is still quite a lot...

This week, a friend of mine introduced me to a new (?) tool, though, that I think is really going to help me streamline my process a bit. The software I use for proofreading has a feature (though it's really more like a secondary version of the app) that works inside other programs. With this version of the app, I can actually proofread as I go instead of doing it separately, after the revising is done.
