Just to clarify some stuff for you Cheryl (love the reaction btw, keep em going!!!) 😊: 1) This Fairytale isn't about how the Grimm got started, the Grimm's origin is just that they were created by the God of Darkness to continuously destroy & counteract the God of Light's Life & Creations on Remnant. According to that story, that even means that the Grimm technically have existed longer than even mankind has, since humans were created later by both brothers as a sort of Final Creation they did together. 2) This particular Fairytale is actually said to be about a specific species of Grimm, known as "The Chill", that are similar to the Geist Grimm in that they don't have their own tangible forms, but instead they possess things, however unlike the Geists, The Chill possess people, and can apparently jump from person to person as they scare others to death around them. 3) It's also explained further (I believe in the book these stories are coming from) that the imagery of the possessed people appearing Grimm-like in their faces is actually over exaggerated, & that in reality, you actually wouldn't be able to tell by appearance if someone was possessed, hence the last few lines being about evil & how its not clearly recognizable like humanity likes to wish it was, but instead, its able to "lurk behind any face". 4) I can't remember exactly how it was worded, but it's also even implied that the details of the imagery that found its way into the Fairytale for the facial appearance of the possessed (the colored eyes & the creeping up veins) was actually based on whispers & reported sightings of Salem (if I remember correctly, I think they just referred to her as a "Witch" again as the hint that they meant Salem)
