2024-02-12 23:01:18 +0000 UTCOh, Red. It's agonizing to see him crawling toward that forest, surely thinking that he will be too late, because Seral got there first. At this point he has no idea that Seral is gone and pups face a new danger. I assume that he is quite close, I wonder if he'll manage to scare off Hemlock or will protect the cubs at the price of his own life. I think she will hesitate, at least for a moment. Even though they are little predators, they are also children. That though won't stop her from eliminating them though if something doesn't happen. Really intense page and all of these emotions conveyed without a single word. Really well done.
