Thanks! For grids, I often just freehand them. And when I need them to be perfect, I'll create a new 3d layer and enable the 3d ruler option. This upcoming video actaully goes in more on that subject, so watch out for that.

OOO! I will 100% be using that reference for my next walk and run cycles. But I did want to ask you a question. How do you animate background grids in Clip Studio Paint? I have been having a tough time doing it on the iPad version of the app, and I don't have the computer version.

Dino Claypool

Yeah I found out that different tablets essentially render the stroke differently even if the settings for the brush is the same in the software. I often use brushstroke size 4 on one tablet, and size 6 for another. As a short term solution, I would try to reduce the brushstroke size until it makes sense.

Hi Dong! This is an incredibly valuable video, thank you for making it! Also, may I ask you what your pen pressure settings are for the animator-brush you tend to use? I downloaded it but the ‘ink’ comes out too thick even when I press lightly on my Wacom pen.

Alexandra Jenkins

This is awesome, can’t wait to try this!
