Very nice choice watching Tekketsu at this point of your Monogatari journey. Can´t wait to get home from work and experiencing ... once again ... the peakest of the peak of animation and story telling.

Anna can't get her smile off her face the first ten minutes straight. They really enjoy it. :-)

I'm not as in-love with Kizu as some (I think mostly because of pacing), but it's such a gorgeous work with some fantastic character moments. I do understand the love others have for it.

mmm sadly unless one of them put things together about the timeline (it will happen eventually), they will remain confused about those events maybe until the end of the 3 movies or probably until Nekomonogatari (?) since they don't read the comments.

You guys are a bit confused about the timeline. Kizu aka Koyomi Vamp takes place during Spring Break in March. This is the break between school years in Japan so Koyomi and Tsubasa have yet to start Year 3(senior year). The cat incident is during Golden Week, a series of Japanese national holidays in May. This is all info that we learned in Bakemonogatari btw. Hope that helps!

"heart-under-blade" is how "Shinobu" written in kanji, wrote blade 刃 kanji and put heart 心 kanji under it becomes Shinobu 忍.... which make the author of this series is beyond any other author out there in case of word play

Just to make it clear, Tekketsu means "iron-blooded". The subsequent movies are titled Nekketsu (hot-blooded) and Reiketsu (cold-blooded). So yeah, it's about Shinobu, or rather: Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, the Iron-Blooded, Hot-Blooded, Cold-Blooded Vampire, Lord of the Night and the King of Apparitions and the Killer of Apparitions.

The visual design of various locations is gonna be different depending on the arc. In reality, they're the same areas even if they may look different.
