Schedule December 1-5

Hello, hello. Happy Sunday. I hope you guys all had a lovely weekend. If you celebrated Thanksgiving, I hope you made it out alive and can live to tell the tale. (My only Thanksgiving annoyance is that I made brownies- not my best batch- and pumpkin snickerdoodles- my best batch EVER- and people raved about the brownies and no one- minus Dan (who is not a sweet eater, but LOVED them)- said anything about the cookies. But if that's my only complaint, I think I've got it pretty good. Note: yes, I know the parentheticals are way off on this, but I'm too lazy to fix them. Lol.

Holy hell, the Jets got a win today. Dan was at the game, I stayed home. I had a maintenance sort of day. I cut my hair, put a gloss on it, had a martini, set up a tea station in the bedroom, tried to do whatever I could to set myself up for success this coming week (things have been kind of a hot mess lately). I don't do that well without a very specific schedule. And since I ran out of pages in my schedule book (I've been sort of winging it with another notebook- paper is paper, right? Wrong) nothing has ben going well. I have finally ordered a new one, so hopefully, we can finish off the end of the year strong.

I did mange to read a good bit this week. I finished The Locked Ward, then I read the Housemaid trilogy: The Housemaid; The Housemaid's Secret; and The Housemaid is Watching. If you're curious, the first one was good, and then they got progressively worse as they went on. I just started The Last Time I Lied this morning. So far, so good. But, I'm only about 10% of the way through.

Everything is pretty much status quo this week. We don't finish or start any new seasons. The Summer I Turned Pretty is over, but apparently, they are making a movie. Huzzah! I was so upset that we didn't get anyone's reactions to Belly and Conrad getting back together. That drama could have filled an entire season. Lol.

You'll notice big chunks in the schedule this week. We've finished The Summer I Turned Pretty and I'm taking a week in between before we start the new show (which I don't even know what it will be yet, I'm waiting to hear from our sponsor). I'm just desperately trying to get ahead everything so I can deal with this Vimeo bullshit (that's 100% my fault, but still). I still think it should all be taken care of by the end of the year, so cross your fingers for me.

We're coming up to the world's most minor surgery that I'll be having. I have a doctor's appointment this Wednesday. (The surgery will be, like, 20 minutes. The pre op for 20 minutes is insane). Then, next Monday, I meet with my doctor (who is an hour away 🙄) and the surgery is Tuesday. I don't expect to film that Monday or Tuesday (but I do expect things to come out on time. I don't know how I'll feel Wednesday, but I don't imagine any disruptions for you guys. I'll keep you posted, but unless things go awry, I should have enough pre-reacted to that this shouldn't be an issue.
