Final art for the update & con pics!

Hey everyone,

It’s been a busy week again! For this week I finalized all the art for the next update - and I have started adding it to the game.


Getting things in game

Now this part of the development always feels like completing a giant puzzle. And the puzzles keep getting bigger with each update! This time I’ll be adding more then 300 new bits of art to the game; meaning I've been slicing up images, exporting them, renaming them and adding them to code.

Now for me this is quite a rewarding moment, to finally see all my ideas come to life in game. But unfortunately, this part of the development doesn’t really give me great material for my post :) However, I did draw some finall assets for the game, and like to share those. So here goes!

Final bits of art

I initially forgot to draw this pose, so I made this kinda last minute. Here is keen bending over to get a wrech from Rubens pants.

And I also realized I might need a few extra images around keens actual timetravel trip. And so I made these extra poses for that. These are of course not the most spectaculair parts of the game, but I think adding details likes this really helps to stay emersed in the game.

The convention trip

And speaking about trips! Last weekend I visited the Venus Convention in Brelin to promote Space Rescue - and it was a real blast! I got to talk to quite a few people- and hopefully managed to interest some of them in the game.

But besides that...what an impressive convention! It was very much on par with the big game conventions I’ve been to - and it was definitly as interesting :) Let me share some snapshots to show you what I mean.

And below: the latest scientific improvements in realdolls, some stylish korean toys for in the bedroom -and a picture with Mia Nins, who paraded around the con wearing golden wings.

And this is just a tiny, tiny part of the con, but there was a lot more to there. So if you like the pictures and live near Berlin, then I can highly recommed going there some day. It was really fun!


Next

Well. Measnwhile I'm already back at my pc- and the next step for me is to add dialog to the game, and connecting everything in code. This usually takes me a week or two, so with some luck, the update should be done before the end of the month! And then you can finally visit Keens past & meet Pari :)
