More art!

Hey everyone,

This week it was hot again over here! And sometimes can I get a bit sleepy of all the heat, but this week I was full of energy and drawing all over the place :)

I’ve worked on many different things, like characters, the painter-minigame, a background and even some promo art. It’s a bit much to share everything here at once, so instead I tried to make a nice selection. I hope you like it.

Background art

So I first worked on a background for the girls dorm. The background itself is basically a door, but there is quite a lot going on in the scene around it.

Like here, there is a guy doing some graffiti to express his feelings for his girl.

And here the clean-bot goes to work.

But after a succesful intervention of Keen, he finally manages to finish his graffiti .

And then they leave, and you can enter the building :)

Character art

Next I made some additional art for the characters that will appear in the upcomming story- which were basically a lot of new poses and facial expressions. And in this case I thought it would be cool to share some of those new expressions.

So most characters in game have more then a dozen facial expressions. But the absolute minimum I need for any character, are 3 expressions - which are needed to let the characters to talk. And those are; mouth open, mouth closed, and something inbetween. That way the characters can say more then one sentance at a time, and thus keep talking.

And here I collected those 3 expressions for all the new characters, and made a short animation out of them. I hope you like them!

Promo art

Then finally I worked on some promo art!

So next month I’ll be going to another adult-convention. The idea is to get a booth there in the future, but it’s a bit of a gamble to do so without ever having been to that convention before. So this time I’ll just go to have a look, and see if it’s something for Space Rescue.

But since I’m there anyway... I thought about printing a t-shirt to give the game some more exposure ...and to have a conversation starter ;)

But the art that appears in game, wasn’t really fitting for a shirt. So that’s why I made the picture below. And the idea is to print it on the back of a white shirt-and have a logo on the front.

Please let me know what you think. Oh- And if the shirt works out, then I can of course print more of them as well! Or maybe turn it into a poster?

Well, that was my week again... Tomorrow it's Saturday- and time to enjoy that sun a bit :)
