I watched Love And Monsters on netflix recently, it was good fun. Shame Covid stopped people from being able to see it at the cinema.

Arthur Gatward

I've watched the "Shawshank" film multiple times (mostly tv), a very g00d film!

James Alberg

I agree about the latest Indy movie. It was fun, mainly I'm just glad they didn't end with "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." I'd like to recommend two Welsh films: "Twin Town" and "Human Traffic" absolute bangers!

Haven't really watched a film since Roger Moore was James Bond, except for the Scandie Noir crime ones shown on All 4 and other subtitled foreign language ones on BBC, the occasional old B&W on Talking Pictures. Local Cinema closed 20 years ago, a bit of a flee pit but did show some good enjoyable films if the projectionist did not fall asleep and we got a blank white screen between reels, became its own entertainment, could he stay awake for a 90 minute or a two hour movie. Now demolished and a pub/club on the site.

Or the Boulting Brothers films - "I'm Alright Jack" is on Talking Pictures TV on Sunday afternoon.

Should watch Sausage Party!

Jamie Smith

Out of all those films you mentioned I haven't seen any of them although I did go to the cinema this week to see Barbie. My friend works at the local cinema so we can go for free anytime which is great when you don't know what to do on a given day.

One way of dealing with the YouTube request would be to review some classic British movies. The Ealing Comedies, e.g. "The Titfield Thunderbolt", "Passport to Pimlico", "The Ladykilletrs", and "The Lavender Hill Mob", have oodles of British culture to react to.

Out of all those films, I’ve only seen Shawshank, great film I meant to go see Indy but I got rid of my cinema ticket & now going to the cinema seems very expensive & a lot of effort. I’m terrible at leaving my house 😬

Hi, Alanna, I think I can tell you the reason they make films longer, its to give you the opportunity to eat more popcorn. Very interesting video, thanks for that.
