Patreon Only - Unusual food time!!

Happy Saturday, everyone!

This week I went to Tesco and browsed the aisles I usually skip! I came home with 5 things I've never tried before.. and honestly, I was pretty surprised!

Let me know if you'd ever tried these before - or what you would refuse to try!

Hope you have a great rest of your day :)

I think there was also one called 'Christmas Tinner' which, well, you can imagine.

It's not unusual for me to have the Full English can in my bottom cupboard - just in case of emergencies lol.

Popcorn73

Definitely would recommend the Mac & Cheese slice, just in the oven instead! So heavy though lol

Adventures and Naps

Ahh camping, you're totally right!

Adventures and Naps

To be fair, you're right - I don't think I've ever had a bad pastry 😂

Adventures and Naps

It's certainly is fast!

Adventures and Naps

True!! Can’t say I’ve had that yet..

Adventures and Naps

'tastes this' and 'tastes that' and she's still ducking Bovril.

That all day breakfast reminds me coming home from school at lunchtime and needing something quick before heading back! That and "big Soup" was my staple till I learned to cook from scratch.

Andy McGarty

I only know of them as they (Heinz) are one of the sponsors of the ITV weather. They do 3 types/flavours according to the sponsor clip.

The breakfast in a can sounds so American to me. Ham and cheese is a great combo, good on you for trying it out of a tube. Mac and cheese in a pastry sounds fantastic, what has pastry ever made taste worse??

All day breakfast in a can is a bit grim, but it is great when you are camping. As someone else has said best served on toast.

Nice video, I agree with Gem, the rustlers are a great hangover food, also they are available everyware so if you want something warm at lunchtime, but don't want to drive to a MacDonald's for a burger, they can come in handy. I used to love the cheese tubes in sandwiches as a kid, and beans and sausages on toast was an upgrade to the quick and cheap beans on toast for lunch, although I never tried the all day breakfast. I can see it is disappointing if you compare it to a full English, but if you compare it to beans on toast, its actually a pretty good upgrade I think! I have seen the mac and cheese slices and avoided them, feels like it will be too much stodge for me, but I might have to give it a try now. The Marmite peanut butter sounds like a pointless exercise as they are both fine on their own, not sure why they need to be mixed, but I might give it a try at some point.

They are often in the Tesco meal deal

Simon

Thanks Aaron, I'll make sure to look for the hard drive!

Adventures and Naps

ohhh my god I didn't even think about being hungover, that would be perfect!!

Adventures and Naps

Shrimp!! Straight from the tube! 😂 Oh my god incredible

Adventures and Naps

The whole box?? I'll have to try

Adventures and Naps

Cheers Mark!!

Adventures and Naps

😂 thanks so much!!

Adventures and Naps

Thanks so much for watching! Loved that Ginsters slice, I'll definitely try all the others now!

Adventures and Naps

It was so good, I'm converted!

Adventures and Naps

😂🥯

Haven't heard of the Beanz burger but I'll keep an eye out!

Adventures and Naps

Always hated the Primula cheese, whether in a tube or the semi circular tub, a Dairylea man myself, little triangles of joy. The allday breakfast looks as awful as the cans of beans and sausages. The Mac and Cheese slice looks very moreish, Ginsters products are always excellent. A slice of Kernow that can be enjoyed anywhere. You should try the new Heinz Beanz Burgers, Tesco don't sell them here yet, if ever, would be great to get a verdict on them.

Tony S

Great video. I was literally eating Chive Primula on a toasted bag-el & crumpet while watching this video and none of y'all can stop me.... Ahh, the salty goodness. 😂

Will

Looks like Alanna has a new friend in Gingsters Mac & Cheese Puffed Pastry. Yum!! 😋

Steve Mikre

I have many of the foods you tried in my cupboard / fridge. The only one I didn’t have was Marmite peanut butter - because I hate marmite and I am extremely allergic to peanuts. I had the plain cheese version of primula - love it. I had a Ginsters sausage roll - yum. I had an Aldi own label English breakfast and a Rustlers burger (no cheese). Unsurprisingly, as I had them in the cupboard, I thought all were pretty decent. You have to have the all day breakfast on toast though. Great vid.

The pure dedication to letting us watch you eat things we've known are gross our whole lives is commendable!

itsleedarke

There are alway those burgers in at least one of the fridges at work ..Some of the stuff in the supermarket is surprising. .Most of us just get the same stuff week in ,week out . Alanna thanks for today vid .As always have a great weekend. .Remember have fun and enjoy life ..

Mark Walsh

I have a weird softspot for microwave burgers. But the rustlers do it yourself thing is a bit weird. The easiest ones are where you put the whole box in the microwave

Simon

Tubes of Primula cheese were an absolute treat as a kid, plain, ham or shrimp flavours were all yummy - don't tell my Mum but the very best way to consume it is to suck it straight from the tube (allegedly!). The tinned all day breakfast is evil!!

Malcolm Lawrence

Why would they ruin marmite with pb?! All day breakfast in a can was what my parents gave us as kids when they couldn’t be bothered to cook on a Saturday 😂 Rustlers products = hangover food when you can barely function & there’s nothing else! Think I’m gonna have to hunt down the mac & cheese bake…

Gem

That was a funny video idea! I haven’t seen most of those before lol, I have the thing I’m going to send for the subathon ready, if you can find the A+N logo let me know and I’ll order it! No worries if you can’t find it! That was a funny video! Thanks for your patreon videos! Your patreon videos are always great! I always really look forward to them!
