Thanks so much pal, I really appreciate it!!

Thanks Alanna for sharing, I'd like to think the people who leave horrible comments would not recognise you in the street and probably go round leaving horrible comments on lots of channels and are not obsessed with just your channel and that anyone who recognised you would be a fan but I understand your fear of meeting people. I'm sure most of your fans don't stay in your area of the country and if they were to pass you in the street would probably only realise it later in the day unless you were actually filming at the time. If you ever were to visit Scotland the chances of me bumping into you would be so slim I'm sure if I walk passed you and think I'm sure I've seen that face somewhere before lol. Glad you liked the haggis, keep up the videos, have no idea how you manage to find the time to do them all

I always take a book on a train journey, Paperback from the station W.H. Smith's, (other retailers are available), seldom get past the first page, just looking out the window is the perfect pastime in daylight, oh, and the buffet car if it has one, Hen's teeth these days unless a long distance main line journey. Peoples' back gardens can be fascinating through towns if not going at 90+.

Thanks so much James!!

Hi Steven! Early-access video views still count towards the total - so when the video finally goes "Live" is already has views listed. Plus it only ends up being about 20 views or so.

Adventures and Naps

Not sure, never counted!

Thanks Sarah, I really appreciate that!! Hope you have a great weekend, too!

Adventures and Naps

I think so too!!

I'll keep that in mind!

Ah, that was an informative look into Alanna's world, course, not all "new" to me. Looking forward to your Cider taste test. You did one in Canada when the Covid/Visa situation had you there much longer then anticipated I recall (Canadian Ciders of course}, and, I'm sure this will be just as entertaining. Thanks Alanna... byeee 👋🏻

It's crossed my mind, Alanna, that since you've started giving your Patreon members an early viewing of your YouTube videos via Patreon, that surely MUST reduce the numbers of views each video gets on YouTube itself...? Unless the Patreon views all count-in with the regular YouTube ones - which I suspect they might well not? Could it have split the total number of YT views?

Thanks for letting us into your world a bit more. I’m sad that in the unlikely event of seeing you somewhere I couldn’t say hi because you wouldn’t feel safe. You don’t deserve to be abused in any way and I hope the positive comments outweigh the negative ones. I’m glad you continue to enjoy your videos regardless of some creeps contacting you, I don’t really understand why they would do that but I hope you find a way to eliminate it. To be honest I am just shocked that your abuse extends beyond negative comments on your videos and frankly they’re not necessary when I don’t like a video I just stop watching so I guess I am a bit naive. I hope you enjoyed your tea and being cosy and that your weekend is going well. Thanks for the video.

I was admiring you mug, it is pretty.

Thanks for answering my question.

Where’s my sandwich!?

Jamie Smith

Thanks for this Q&A video. I really enjoyed listening to your answers. I will continue to watch you as your content is awesome & interesting. Keep going, you’re doing a great job!

You like Cider, as I've matured, in years, not mind, I've moved onto Wine, now rediscovered Lambrusco, not technically a wine as is partially fermented grape juice, slightly sparkling and low alcohol, the red 4.5% and white 5.5%. I used to bring tanker loads of the stuff from Italy in the 70's. These days it is bottled in Italy. The best way to see Europe is by Train, as Ashford International is on your doorstep, it is easy for you to get to Paris, Brussels or Amsterdam, from there the whole of Europe is easy to get to by rail, even Italian trains run to time and it is cheap compared to UK trains. A month doing a mini Grand Tour would be a great holiday. Of course you could splurge on the Orient Express or cheaper when back on friendly terms with Russia, the Trans Siberian Express.

Tony S

That sounds incredible!! Cheers Philip!

Thanks Malcolm! Unfortunately the scary people online kind of ruin the fun of meeting the friendly-supportive people 😩 But thankfully the kind people far outnumber the others!

Thanks Steve!!

That is so sweet Aaron, thank you!!

Thanks so much Gem!!! Ahh can't wait!

The whole of "Due South" was on Great TV during lockdown, maybe they'll show it again once "Castle" is finished. If you make it to Iceland, bear in mind that Greenland is only 2 hours further on, so you can do Kulusuk as a day trip - although a few days in Tasiilaq is worth the extra (helicopter) flight.

Thanks Alanna. The Q&A is a great idea and maybe you should make it an annual event (or whatever frequency works!). Sad to say, but I imagine that your approach to bumping into subscribers in the street is probably the right way to go.

Malcolm Lawrence

Hi, Alanna, really enjoyed that, it was very interesting. The format worked well and it was very good.

Stephen Parker

This episode was like a simple sit down and chat about "stuff". It was a lot of fun...🖖

Steve Mikre

Actually factually acceptable. 😎

Garry Mothinabox

Thanks for answering the question about advice you’d give to your teenage self! I appreciate hearing what you have to say about that! I think it’s cool that you want to have a family when you’re older too! I think you’re a good role model, and a really nice person, and you always have great advice about stuff, so I think you’d be a really good mom!

Aaron Conway

Will asking the important question! 😂 I haven’t been to loads of places in the UK, so don’t feel bad about not going to Canadian provinces! lol Can’t wait for the cider video 🍻 & the subathon!!! 🥳
