Spooky Month viewing!
Added 2021-10-19 18:01:01 +0000 UTCThis Spooky Month I watched Midnight Mass, the new Mike Flanagan show on Netflix! I loved Haunting of Hill House (and to a much lesser extent, Bly Manor) so I wanted to try this one, too.
I thought it was good!!
It's certainly a slow burn, and for the first new episodes, I really didn't know where we were going or what the big deal was... until BAM. Everything starts happening. I thought the acting was good, the set was creepy and it was a really interesting idea!
At some points, it almost felt like a theatre play with really long monologues, but hey ho.
Overall I really enjoyed it!! Anyone else watch it? What are your thoughts??

I agree!! Hill House was SO good that I think it's hard to compare.

2021-10-19 21:32:49 +0000 UTCI quite enjoyed it. I love all of Mike Flanagan's stuff. Have you seen Oculus with Karen Gillan? Everything is so good in this and I think the look into the nature of faith and belief is interesting.

I haven’t watched hill house or Bly manor but I’m trying to watch more tv shows! So I started watching this! I’m on episode 5 right now but I think the show is really good!
