Added 2021-08-25 18:01:01 +0000 UTCRecently we started (and finished) The White Lotus. This new HBO show follows various families and employees at the White Lotus, a resort in Hawaii. It's so good, you guys. Really good. A bit shocking but I never knew exactly where the story was going to go.
It's only 6 episodes and the characters are incredible - all of them feel real and you really get to know them (for better or for worse!). While it can be really uncomfortable at times, I really enjoyed the show and would recommend it if you're looking for something new!

2021-08-26 08:44:02 +0000 UTCNot a big fan of foreign TV channels or shows unless Italian as having worked with many over years and settled down after work with a bottle or many of a nice wine and watched Italian satellite TV. Their shows are often totally alien to a UK audience, featuring on beautiful women and often humiliating them in game shows or intense dramas where at least some knowledge of Italian is needed as the subtitles don't quite convey it. I never let on that I can speak Italian a little and understand a lot.
