I feel your pain, I had to put together 8 Billy Bookcases at one time and it took all day, still they look great. Having the back board around the wrong way must be so annoying and my OCD, would make me rip it off, rather than have to look at it LOL! Another great video and you having to have a wardrobe change to make it easier to build your bookcase, is priceless 😃

Well done! The end part is so typical to do wrong with IKEA furniture, so I feel you. I actually like assembling them and have assembled huge pieces myself, but my partner loves it more, so he gets to do it when we buy something :P It's like the ultimate partner test, doing it together. He just tells me to please step back and not get in his way, haha!

From experience: put all the hardware pieces in a cupcake baking tin so it's easy to sort out the ones you need for each step. Congratulations on your success!

I've learned that there's a universal truth which says you're either good at assembling flat pack furniture or you're not. Credit for having a go Alanna but when you've got a partner that you already know is good at it, then just take the easy way out girl. That said, it made for great viewing as usual😁

Well done Alanna. I find building IKEA furniture great fun. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it. The sense of achievement when you see it standing there in your room. 10/10 for doing it single handed. My daughter usually watches me and hands me the screws and other pieces.

When it comes to ikea furniture I get my little sister to assemble it, I don’t know why but she’s great at it. I’m impressed that you were willing to even try something so evil and I hope you had a great curry and film after, you earned them. i love making Ikea furniture, i find it very calming - sorry I live so far North or I would have been able to come and help (covid distancing of course) - i do find you expend a lot more energy than you'd expect so best apparel is shorts and a loose vest top - best part tho, sitting down at the end and saying "I made that and Ive got quite a lot spare left over" x

Love building IKEA furniture, so I spent this video saying “nooooo” a lot 😂 I had every faith you could do it on your own... & then you got the butler! 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️😂 My suggestion for future attempts is to add rum to your Coke Zero, helps with everything 😂 Great video Alanna, you should build things more often 😄 P.S.
