Added 2020-09-08 18:01:00 +0000 UTCRecently I watched the new film The Outpost - it's about the deadliest outpost in Afghanistan that soldiers were sent to protect. I went into the film not knowing the real story, so it definitely explains it for you.
As always, I don't want to spoil the movie. So let's just say: the first half is 🥱 and the second half is 😮
Overall I really enjoyed it but I found that it was lonnnnggg. And the second half was loouuudddd. Certainly a good watch if you're into war/action films, especially those that are based on a true story. There's also some really cool camera-work if you're into that kind of stuff.

It's a true story of Irish peacekeepers for the UN in Africa in the 1950s I think. Anyway, I'm watching The Girl with all the Gifts right now because the book was excellent ☺ Enjoy your week Alanna!
