It’s ok! Many people think we wear grass skirts. The closest thing to that would be tī leaf skirts. They’re really long, soft, green leaves that go from the hips down to the knees. Sometimes we leave the leaves whole and sometimes we shred (“strip”) them. I guess from far away, the stripped leaves could resemble grass. 😉

Like the way you did the clothing sounds video. I figured since you're Hawaiian it would be fitting 😏😉 maybe with whispering a brief history of hula dancing to go with it? 😘
