Another AEW star is signed long-term

Hook has been sidelined from action for quite some time, leading to many questioning his future in AEW until a teaser ran on the August 13 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp learned that despite his recent absence from the ring, Hook is firmly under contract with All Elite Wrestling. In fact, Fightful has learned that Hook actually re-signed with AEW at some point in 2024. So far, details on the deal are few and far between, outside of that it’s a multi-year contract.

We’re told by sources familiar with the situation that by the time it had been reported that Hook had retained Barry Bloom’s group to represent him, that he had already re-signed with AEW and was locked up for years.

We’re told that Hook has years remaining left on his deal.
