Have you heard anything about some matches happening at Forbidden Door that aren’t AEW vs AEW? I hate that AEW picked this time of year to have this show since the G1 is going on in NJPW and the 5 star Grand Prix is going on in STARDOM

I really think they need to move the timing of Forbidden Door to not be right before or after the G1. I think there will be a decent mix of STARDOM, CMLL and NJPW talent, but the special aura of these shows have worn off.

The other day I was watching a Tunnel to Towers commercial with Steve Maclin, and WOW, he had a strong presence and was very relatable in it! Do you think if he went to AEW after his current TNA contract, they should tap into this side of him? Feel like he could be a really strong baby face character if given the chance. Thanks.

Any time people talk to Steve Maclin, that's the impression they come away with. I'm not sure how he'd fit with the AEW crowd, but if given the appropriate spotlight, he'd surprise a lot of people by basing for a lot of high flyers, and doing a lot of hardcore stuff. He's worked very well in TNA as a babyface.

Just saw that Full Gear got announced for the Prudential Center in New Jersey, which would be the 3rd time in the last 4 years that they are running the place. In addition, they've ran a few TV shows there. Why does Tony book this building so often and for mostly the same show? Does he get a super sweetheart deal to run it or something? I'd just like them to try and explore other markets for PPV more often rather than just run back the same places.

Sometimes they get deals, like many suspect they did with Dallas, the residency in 2024, and the All in venue this year. They were getting good deals on a lot of the big venues they ran in general, because there weren't a ton of things being booked in the middle of the week.

Maclin has such a relaxed, friendly welcoming vibe outside of the ring. I've met him briefly a handful of times, and he always has kind vibes.

tbf, this is a one-off date for Forbidden Door due to the switch around in timing for ALL IN and Forbidden Door. Every year after will return to the original, traditional date for the show (although there could always be a new one, we KNOW that ALL IN will return to it's old date when it returns to London
