Sean, who’s your wildcard to return at all in?
Sting. There's a number of reasons. I think that AEW needs a fan service type of show to leave an audience feeling great that weekend against three WWE shows. Also, an Avengers-style moment with one of the biggest legend help solidify the new main characters. In addition, Sting lives in Texas and worked the All In ticketing event in December.
Do you think WWE will use Omos more now since he resigned?
Well, they almost certainly couldn't use him less. He has a strong desire to improve, and is open to working again in Japan. He hasn't wrestled for WWE in over 14 months. His last three televised matches are battle royals or Rumbles. He has barely been used in the last two years.
Haven’t heard much about AEW having interest in released wrestlers lately, are they just content with their roster right now, leery of ex-WWE folks, or are they just playing things closer to the vest?
For the last year or so, I know AEW was being way more picky with who they brought in. Especially since we've seen WWE departures come in, not be content with the AEW process, leave and return. There's going to be some of those talent that do come in, but it's not going to be a huge amount.

Have there been 5 matches in WWE this year that didn't end in a DQ 😄

2025-06-23 16:36:20 +0000 UTCI think it's Danielson, not Sting, because he: a) provides that Avengers moment with Hangman, Swerve, and Ospreay, b) is younger than Sting and may not be fully retired, and c) has beef with the Death Riders. I'm not ruling out that they don't do a double return though, like they did for Danielson's debut, where either Sting or Danielson comes out to even the odds, the Bucks come out to tip them in Moxley's favor, and then the other one returns. (Edited to add: also d) Danielson has done a lot of the ticket sales stuff for All In Texas as well).
