Mermaid N ° 7: the friend Claudia Santos that I have been following since the time of Orkut, but that only now I finally managed to draw. MerMay challenge - Day 06

We are late, but let's move on!

The mermaid of the time is one of those who were born to be from the sea. Luize Altenhofen is the star of advertising campaigns and beach fashion magazines that conquered the whole of Brazil and the admiration of this artist who writes to you.

How not to draw it in its natural habitat? Too bad I have little time. It was not possible to draw a sea full of waves to serve as a frame for the beauty that was the cover of Playboy magazine 3 times.

Anyway, let the mermaid surf in our imagination!

MerMay challenge - Day 05

The mermaid of the 5th being posted late. Even so, let's go ahead.

The bad news is that it delayed the challenge. The good thing is that these challenges usually give me a psychological boost in the production of serious jobs and I got involved with the next packs that are underway here.

Another very dear and very talented friend from the theater and TV, my eternal "Eve" (she played the Eden's Garden character on a Brazilian TV show) became a mermaid for a day! The beautiful Roberta Foster is one of those people who does not allow me to waste time in a bad mood and is contagious with positivism even in the middle of the storm.

MerMay challenge - Day 04

Fourth day of MerMay and today we have another unique mermaid.

This time the "dark mermaid" wins the public's attention. Everything to do with the original model, my friend and super-professional, stylist and illustrator, the dear Marcela who from a coworker became the character she always was in real life: an urban mermaid of sea and city lights!

I'm loving this year's challenge! The models this time show their artistic gifts with these WONDERFUL IDEAS to help me build even more charismatic characters!

Day 3 of MerMay! Now it's the turn of the beautiful Russian model Mary Kle and her drawing containing a nice idea of the model herself!

In our conversation to decide about the mermaid, she told me that she loves mermaids, but she also has a special affection for unicorns. When I suggested that I could make her a "unicorn mermaid" she was extremely excited. So there's Mary's unusual and beautiful mermaid!

Motoko: just a few more hours!

Today is the day!

Finally I managed to finish the Playservice magazine for February and I will send it to supporters until the afternoon, time in my country (Brazil).

This was a long process and also a great challenge in the face of the difficulty created by the pandemic, but here we are with enough courage to overcome these difficult times.

Now let me continue my efforts to complete the March pack with less delay.

Motoko is almost ready!

We are about to launch Motoko Kusanagi's Playservice with a long delay, but it will be EPIC!

She is my favorite character of all time and I managed to dedicate all my effort to produce illustrations with the quality that she deserves.

There will be 5 illustrations inspired by the original Major from the first manga of Masamune Shirow, the best versions of the character in my opinion.

I believe that this week I will be able to send the definitive digital magazine to dear supporters. In the meantime, I will post some more images of the production.

The wait will be worth it.

Soon, my dear supporters, you will have access to the February download of Playservice magazine.

Problems with the pandemic here in Brazil continue to hinder many things for all of us, but I am working hard to deliver all the work on the list that I defined earlier this year.

The next character will be Motoko Kusanagi, from the manga and animation series Ghost in the Shell. All the arts are almost finished. Soon they will be added to the magazine's graphic project and will be sent to you.

Also because of this delay, I am still analyzing the possibility of eliminating the tutorial section in order to be able to deliver on the right dates in the coming months.

Then, when things are more stable, I will be able to start producing digital illustration tips again. For now I will focus only on illustrations and making ofs.
