Here is the finished set of Oasis City maps! Visually, the idea behind the city was to add bonus water resources gathered on rooftops of buildings - from construction point of view, it's something that would probably be a really bad idea due to water weight and volume, but as a theme it could be pretty cool to have a desert city dependant on sesonal lakes appearing during the rain season, forced to keep supplies and resources for the other half of the year when it is dry / keep the good supply line between this place and other cities around.

I forgot to share a preview of the map earlier, but I'm uploading a new urban map I've been working on since some time! I noticed that actually I haven't ever done any desert-theme city and it's the theme I personally really like, so I've thought about making this urban layout with oasis like lakes. Another thing I wanted to check out while working on this map set is adding some multi-levels to the urban landscape to make it more varied. Buildings here are most dense on higher elevations, but in the future I would like to work on a dense layout with different ground levels / city sectors (probably with some other theme to it, maybe something hyper-industrialized).

I'm posting Thermal Rift connector biome. It makes:
Lava Pools and Burning Forest maps compatible with winter biomes:
Winter Settlements A, B, C, D
Connector - Winter/Grasslands A, B, C, D
Alpine Ridge A, B, C, D
Winter Outpost A, B, C, D
Winter A, B and Winter River
There will be slight snow hue mismatch, but you can combine winter side with Frozen City sheets. There are also other Winter maps under Collections you might want to check out and combine, but those will result in half-hexes. It's still a viable option if you want to make a house rule, how to treat those hexes however, a bunch of hexes on the map border with only half of the label can be treated as neutral hex without any label to avoid confusion.

I'm working on another connector map - this time the theme is frost-fire. You can use it as a stand-alone biome or to connect sheets between lava biome and winter maps. I'll do a compatibility list later on.

I'm posting Alien Marshes sheets! While working on the biome, I caught myself on that I usually do not put different water depths on maps and stick to shallow water, so I've added some deeper water here. While this biome is mostly an open terrain, I've already started planning out new biome, and for the next pack I will be doing some Urban stuff again with a dense building layout and a different theme from current cities.

I'm working on a new marshland biome. I want this pack to have a lot of open terrain and marsh lakes you can submerge into. I called it Alien Marshes because I've made some new textures I will be using in this pack, adding a whole giant connected root system covering the moist ground of the area, so I can imagine it could be something to find on another planet, giving it more exotic vibes!

I've wanted to make a post to show what Kalorn has been working on recently with his super cool printable hex-terrains! It definitely makes the terrain look more 3D and immersive! It takes some work to print out and cut out appropriate hexes to glue them on top of 3d printed terrain, but final results look amazing and it's definitely worth it!
Check out his Cults3d page to see what's new:

His project is just fantastic!

I'm posting Artificial Lakes biome! I tried to make it waried with different feature types. Some hexes here are labeled as canal. What I had in mind for this hex, is that it's treated as Depth 1 river for vehicles and infantry and other small units, while big walker units can simply move over it without any penalties, treating it as a normal empty hex. If you are planning to use different types of units in your forces, I think it would be a cool addition!

I'm working on a new biome - a terraformed desert flooded with artificial lakes. It will be a mix of natural/manmade features with some sheets featuring buildings and small outposts.

I'm posting Jungle Canyons biome! I hope this pack will be fun to use. I have some ideas for further expansion on this biome, so sooner or later I'll be probably adding up another pack with similiar visuals but a very different layout!

I'm working on a new canyon biome. Moving between the upper and lower levels here will require some effort and planning, because canyon walls are going to be high, but it will be possible and it will grant both the high ground and a lot of jungle spots providing cover. I think it should be fun and provide a lot of opportunities for ambushes!

I'm posting Forest Ravine biome! On it's longer map edge it's compatibile with those biomes:
Alpine Lakes - A, B, C, D
Alpine Ridge - A, B, C, D
Riverside - A, B, C, D
Dragon Moutains - A, B, C, D
Burning Forest: Lava Pools - Grassland Connector -A, B, C, D
Connector - Grasslands/Badlands A, B, C, D
Connector: Grass-Desert A, B, C, D
Connector - Winter/Grasslands A, B, C, D
Grassland Peaks - A, B, C, D

I'm working on another biome featuring a giant bridge as a point of focus / objective to use. The bridge goes over a ravine or canyon with several levels of depth. The canyon is another spot that could be used for an interesting mission, as one side can deploy troops down there trying to cross map sheets, while the other side can be deployed on the ground level with a goal to stop them.
This one is made on Grasslands biome and will be compatible with other grassland themed maps - just not from every side. Long map edge seems like a good spot for a connector.

I'm posting Swamplands map pack! I like the atmosphere of this biome because it's way more muddy, dirty and grim looking than previous swampy / marshland terrains I've made, so it have different vibes!

I wanted to improve on how giant trees (I featured those on some earlier maps) look like, so I've made another graphic for them. I really like this idea of huge trees tall to the sky where even big machines look tiny in comparison. Unlike on previous map packs however, this time I've made a swamp / bog biome. I tried to make the landscape look somehow probable and Earth-like but alien enough to be interesting.

I'm posting finished glacier biome maps! I used different types of textures for the ground than on older ice and glacier maps to improve the looks of the base surface, but older glaciers and the new one are not matching each other because of that.

I'm working on a glacier biome map pack. I wanted the map to look open but at the same time provide a lot of cover and points where you can hide, so it's littered by clusters of small ice columns providing coverage, despite most of the map being a plain ice field with some highlands and pools of water.

I'm posting new grasslands biome! I've modified it a bit by adding some lower level ramps leading to hills, I think it makes it a bit more varied and less artificial looking. The map pack can be used as a standalone biome, but it's is compatibile with other grassland biomes and it can be used to make some interesting combinations:
Alpine Lakes A, B, C, D
Alpine Ridge A, B, C, D
Riverside A, B, C, D
Dragon Moutains A, B, C, D
Burning Forest A, B, C, D
Connector - Grasslands/Badlands A, B, C, D
Connector: Grass-Desert A, B, C, D
Connector - Winter/Grasslands A, B, C, D

I'm working on a new grassland themed biome with high hills spread around it. I wanted to make one of those more classic layouts with bunch of trees, water hexes and hills spread around the flat terrain, but access to hills being somewhat more cumbersome, making them those points of interest you play around. I also didn't do anything fancy to map borders on this biome, so it can be easily connected to other Grassland themed maps if you want to mix them up. I think it works cool with Grasslands/Badlands connector I've posted a while back.
I'll be making a couple more adjustments.

I'm working on a new package - a giant river flowing through the dessert valley with enormous bridges and highways. This map pack should have a bunch of interesting points around which you can make some fun scenarios! Destroying bridges or crossing the other side of the river, interrupting transport convoys traveling through the highway or blocking one of the roads - or other similar type of missions! I had to drop the usual modularity in this pack to make the layout more interesting but I think it's going to be pretty fun to use!

I'm posting Arid Wasteland map pack! All sheets are open but with with at least one or two main hills near the middle or sides, so you can have a central spot to maneuver around / hide behind to / take position at to have a better vision and map control. Hopefuly I managed to balance out openness and cover here. Have fun!

I'm working on a wasteland map - an arid biome with a couple of small water ponds, some depressions and hills. I want this area to be devoid of life, so instead of putting some trees to make it interesting I'll be using rock clusters working in a similar way, providing some hideouts against enemy fire.

Quite a while ago I've made a Lunar Surface pack. I wasn't really happy about the package, because to prevent surface from looking too boring and monotonous I've decided to add some space-liquid lakes on the surface. While I still think it looks interesting, what I really had in mind back then, was a desolate Moon surface, like something you would meet in real life if you were landing on our planet's moon or some sort of barren asteroid. This week, I got back to this older idea, but this time keeping the biome fully barren by adding some moutains to make the layout more visually interesting!

I'm finishing up Twin Waterfalls biome! This time I've dropped the usual modularity to make a different type of layout for a change! On the one hand, this map is pretty open, but it also has a lot of spots providing cover. Upper sectors are more arid than lower ones, so instead of trees there are rock formations acting in a similar way to forests. The main point of those sheets are rivers with a waterfall, I think it would be a cool idea if you were pushed one hex down when standing on top of "waterfall" hex, to give this feature some bonus flavor!

It took me some time. I had to get my computer working again in last few days, because it was acting crazy, but hopefuly it's over.
I'm posting Abandoned Ports biome! I figured out, I didn't make any water-themed maps for a while, and it was a very long time since I last worked on some sort of islands in general. This pack is rather simple in terms of layout, but hopefuly it will be fun to use / will be a cool addition to scenario possibilities with those rusty bases!

I'm working on a new tropical island biome. The main theme here are abandoned ports, scattered around small islands. The water here will be shallow, to make moving between islands less cumbersome. I want this pack to have those vibes of discontinued project on the sea - something that used to have grand plans and a big scale but declined quickly and became forgotten by everyone. Rusty, abandoned equipment partially scavanged by locals, partially still used by them - but not maintenaned anymore, as main project investors left.

Welcome to the world of Fungus! I've added some fungal features labeled Shroom, which should be treated as regular buildings in terms of destroying them! I was thinking about making hills here impassable walls, but it seems the layout is more interesting when you can get on top of those highlands.
