So, with the release of the new demo of the game, I finally got the opportunity to take a break from development for several days, and at the same time finally come up with and finalize the game’s plot.
Perhaps you remember that he has already changed several times, but this change is final. Previously, the plot was full of inconsistencies, illogical details, inconsistency with the canons of the SW universe and other troubles. Now all this has been fixed and I am pleased to provide you with the final version of the game plot.

Kara Silero, a former Jedi who voluntarily left the Order, is now a fairly successful mercenary. And she succeeds, of course, because although she does not advertise her capabilities as a Jedi, she nonetheless uses them in the right situations. And the most valuable skill in her current work is the unique ability of Kara with the help of the Force to find the rational creatures at fairly large distances (at least in the planet limits). However, in order to use this ability, Kara needs to achieve a certain level of sexual arousal, and it is best to do this of course in the most natural ways :)
In fact, this ability influenced her departure from the Jedi Order, since as a padawan, Kara noticed in herself some possibilities of view through the Force and realized that they appear only in a state of excitement. To test his theory, Kara seduced her teacher and thereby finally fully revealed her ability. But at the same time, realizing what had happened, Kara decided to leave the Order, despite the teacher's attempts to hush up what happened between them.

Interested in this phenomenon, Kara begins to search for those who can lead her to unravel this mystery.

Well, something like that. Now, on the basis of such a scenario, the entire gameplay system of the game will be built. Soon a new demo will appear, this time no longer a “walking simulator,” as some have called the current one, but much more developed, including from a plot point of view.
Btw, a bonus: in the illustration for the post, you can see one of the key characters of the game, which will play an important role in Kara’s adventures :) And yes, if it is suddenly interesting to someone, I created him image from myself. Well, can I play a role in my own game, is not it? :)

Yes a little. But it is better than nothing. And soon it will be even better, because the next release will be fully playable and have a storyline. All this will probably be even at the end of this month, perhaps at the beginning of summer, but nevertheless, as you see, work is ongoing.

Hello there!
So, the playable demo version of the game is almost ready, it remains only to finalize and check out some important little things. And now I can more or less confidently talk about the date on which the game can be released.
Ok, and when will this happen?
It's easy. Many fans of the SW universe, of course, know about Star Wars Day - May 4, which actually will come very soon. Well, and what day is most suitable for the release of the game, if not this one, right? :) At the same time, I have several days left to conduct the final tests before the release, which will allow you to get a good game without (well, not quite of course) bugs and glitches.

One of the good ways to make money on Tatooine is to fight in arenas, including underground ones. In Mos Eisley there is one (or maybe not one :)) such an institution in which you can get hold of money and glory acting as a gladiator. At your service hand-to-hand combat, as well as a duel on vibro-swords or blasters. Until the first bruise of course :)

I continue to work on interaction with the environment, in particular its important element - trade. In any of the game locations you will find many different merchants from whom you can buy any product (well, if you have enough money :)) and also sell him any (almost) of the items from your inventory. Everything is like everywhere else in general.
Do not pay attention to repetitive goods, all this is done just to test the system. The goods themselves, their description and prices is currently work in progress.

Hey.
A small (although not, I'm lying - a big) change in the game interface. For a very long time I was looking for a suitable configuration for the character’s inventory / equipment window, so that it didn’t look quite bad and at the same time was understandable and convenient. Hopefully I'm finally made it. However, your feedback will let me know if I'm still wrong :)
Oh, yes, don't pay attention to empty equipment cells, although Kara is dressed - the system is not yet fully assembled :)
Well, the same applies to other parts - the character settings window and the location map. Game settings and journal windows still in development.

Hello there.
Since the clothing system for the characters works as it should, I can not limit Kara to one outfit :) In the picture above you can see some of the results of my recent work.
As you can see, the variations of the outfits are quite diverse, but this is only part of what has already been done. Moreover, when creating a character at the beginning of the game, you yourself will be able to combine pieces of clothing as you want (well, almost :)) to create a unique outfit. Well, during the game you will be able to buy or receive various clothes from the NPC, for either simply to change the appearance, or to perform certain missions. As you understand, it’s unlikely that anyone can be seduced in the Mandalorians armor, but they will be very useful in a shootout :) And the missions in the game will be both of those :)
Yes, do not pay attention to the Harlequin texture :) This is just a test "checker". Real costume textures will appear very soon.
I repeat - this is not all the details that have already been made, and especially not all that are still conceived. By the way, if you have any ideas, you can safely suggest them in the comments :)

Hey.
I finally fixed all the problems that arose in the process of working with the clothes system for Kara. In particular, due to the incorrect distribution of bone weight in clothing models, in more cases it looked like an explosion at a pasta factory :)
Now everything works fine, as you can see in the screenshots. Now Kara can change items of clothing, wear various outfits needed to complete missions, and undress at the right moments of course :)
Yes, and sorry for the lack of hair. They are not yet completely ready :)
By the way, I also improve the graphics of the game as a whole. I hope this is noticeable and you like it :)

So. I do not seek to infringe on someone else's rights or say that I am a supporter of feminism or something else. But. Male protagonist in this game - WILL NOT! Kara is a woman and the whole plot initially revolves around this fact, all the game mechanics, abilities and skills of the character are developed on the basis of this. Perhaps when this game is completed and gets your approval, I will develop a sequel, where the man can easily be the main character. But this is there, in the future. Here, I repeat again, Kara is a woman. Please do not ask this question again, the answer to it will be absolutely the same.
Another frequent question is whether in this case Kara will have a partner or perhaps even a padawan - a male. The answer to this question is also unequivocal - YES! I’m not sure about the padawan, but buddy, partner, lover and who else, a reckless, daring dude like Han Solo - of course, why not! He can be a permanent member of the Kara's ship crew or be the mercenary or smuggler that can be found in various places on various planets. Be found, as a rule, suddenly and often just when you need him. Well, or not really :)

Thank you for participating in the last survey, but I have one more for you and it is more important.
I finalize the game story and, as a result, the task system. And in the process, I had the idea of a slight change in the plot of the game, so that technically practically nothing will change, but the story will come even closer to the canons of the SW.
So. At the moment, the plot, if someone has forgotten, is this: in the vastness of a far, far galaxy a gang of mercenaries abducting young women and selling them into sexual slavery. Even the Jedis cannot track down and stop these villains. Kara, a former Jedi exiled from the order for using bodily pleasures as a way to achieve a goal along with the ability of the Jedi, is looking for ways to stop this gang in order to earn the Order's forgiveness and return to the Jedi Temple, and at the same time prove to the Council that she's methods of action are no worse generally accepted in Order. However, she hides her Jedi affiliation and acts under the guise of a mercenary.
Now a new option: here, Kara is also an exile from the Order, but she does not intend to return there. She does not act under the guise of a mercenary, she is really is, moreover, a mercenary more or less known. She continues to use the Force and other Jedi skills in her work, and she also has (or she made a new, not important) lightsaber. Although, of course, she hide her abilities to everyone. And, of course, she uses her sexual methods to the fullest :) As for the gang of kidnappers, Kara also hunts her, but here she is driven by a thirst for personal revenge to the leader of this gang, because of him she was banished from the Order. What happened and how - we will gradually find out during the game.

Hello there!
I am finishing work on the first demo of the game and it is about to appear here. Now I’m interested in your opinion on one issue regarding gaming voice acting, and specifically music. In the first demo of the game, there will most likely not be a full-fledged voice acting, however, there will be background music anyway. And this poll concerns her.
I’m specifically interested in whether to use only the original soundtrack from the SW in the game, or add various melodies from other sources that are simply suitable for specific locations? For example, music reminiscent of Eastern or African for sandy and heat Tatooine locations, techno or dubstep tracks on the metal-plastic avenues of Coruscant, the ethnic melodies of China and Japan for the serenity streets of Naboo and so on. As an example, I attached a couple of tunes to the post.
Of course, the OST of SW does not go anywhere, but characteristic melodies will sound only in iconic places and game situations. The rest of the time can be filled with other music.
Or, all the same, leave only the OST of the SW Universe?

As you already understood, the release of the demo version of the game is a little delayed. Alas, it is. This is partly to blame for myself, because I did not think through all the game logic to the end and now, with the introduction of the next necessary opportunity, I had to rewrite a lot of code so that in the end everything worked as it should. In addition, I have not yet completed some important 3D models of the environment and equipment of Kara.
And also, and this more important, I do not have enough time to work because of some family matters that need to be resolved in the near future. As you understand, this is always in a priority. As a result, another release delay and it's sad ...
Nevertheless, all problems are almost resolved, so in the near future I will again direct all my efforts to release the game. Left just a bit :)

As it turned out from the comments under a recent vote on a personal ship for Kara, many of you prefer to see it not just as a stool with wings, but as a small but spacious ship, like the Millennium Falcon. A ship in which you can store many useful things, where there is a place to relax after a tiring task and, perhaps, a small crew.
In addition, the ship must comply with the time. It would be illogical to use the ships of the Old Republic or the Fall of the Empire during the Clone Wars. Yes, some "creators" of games in the ST universe do not see anything wrong with this, but this is not my case :)
Well, let me introduce - YT-1760, which you see it in the picture above. Yes, this is not my 3D-model yet, but it is fixable :)
YT-1760 - is an improved model of the Corellian "YT" series, to which belongs the legendary Millennium Falcon (modificated YT-1300 as you remember). It is somewhat smaller, but faster and more maneuverable. That's exactly what we need, isn't it? :)
By the way, like any such ships, it needs a name :) Maybe you, friends, have any interesting ideas? Write in the comments.

Yes. This is Kara's ship. After all, she travels from planet to planet in pursuit of elusive mercenaries. I do not want to tie the possibility of her movements to various passing vehicles, although it is likely that sometimes she will have to use them too. But no, Kara has its own small ship, which is also a starting point in any location and a place where you can always return to leave something for safe storage.
For a long time I couldn't decide on the appearance of the ship. But a couple of days ago I was watching a movie about creating the Episode I. And there I stumbled upon several concepts of single ships that were made during the filming of the movie. Actually, they never got into the movie, however, each of these concepts has a right to life in my project. I don't want to give Kara one of the famous ships or a Jedi fighter. It must be some unremarkable ship.

Which of them do you think is best suited as the personal ship of Kara? As an option, it could be a ship assembled from different parts from each of the concepts. Or maybe you have your own options that you can show? :)

Hello there.
In the process of finalizing the game mechanics, I had one question, the answer to which only you, friends, can give me, since it depends on how interesting it will be for you to play :)
I am currently working on a save system. It is clear that without it, no modern game simply can not do. But the question is different - what will happen to the game as a result of the death of the main character?
I have two answers at the moment: the first is the classic loading of the last checkpoint or any of your saves. And the second is the full start of the game from scratch, as in games in the roguelike style.
Of course, you don’t really want to, having achieved considerable progress, start the game from the beginning. However, if you do not pretend to be a kamikaze, it is possible that for the whole game you will not even find yourself in a life-threatening situation. Well, again, Kara is a Jedi, and a Jedi is not so easy to kill. And therefore, the scenario with a full restart of the game after the death of the player also seems to me quite appropriate.
But, it's up to you to decide :) I will be glad to hear the opinions in the comments :)

Hello there!
I know that many of you (although probably all) have already been a long waiting for the demo game, but I postponed the release because I wanted to fully realize one of the features of the game. Frankly, for a long time it did not work as it should, but now - the new year began with good luck :)
Actually, what are we talking about. I maked the character's equipment system exactly as I intended it. Now, Kara and any other character will be able to put on/take off any clothes and equipment. The clothes system is implemented as in MMORPGs - parts of the character’s body change to the same part in clothes and vice versa. Thus, good game optimization is achieved, as well as ample opportunities in terms of the change appearance of the characters. You can remove part or all of the clothes from Kara at any time or dress her in another outfit. Everyone remembers the outfit of the slave Princess Leia, right? :) Also, the game was planned the possibility, in some missions, to exchange clothes with other characters or change clothes to make the other image. Thanks to my latest development achievements, this has become possible :)
So, the clothing system is almost ready, it remains to finalize some game details - and the demo will finally appear here. Thanks for your patience!

As you remember, Kara acts under the guise of a mercenary, which means the blaster is her main weapon, and, accordingly, the lightsaber (that you liked so much :) ) it is undesirable for her to demonstrate :)

This is so far the first of several planned hilt for Kara's lightsaber. As you remember, when you a create a character, you can customize the appearance of her sword, namely the color of the blade and the type of hilt.

In the words of comrade Zorg from the famous film - "If you want to do something well - do it yourself!". And so it turns out. As many probably noticed, I used models from the Daz Studio software as clothes for Kara. However, I don’t like the whole costumes there, and to collect something in a single style from different sets ... that is still a mess.
So I decided to spend more time, but with my own hand to create such a costume for Kara as I see him. As you remember, she acts on Tatooine under the guise of a mercenary, which means that her costume should be like that. The concept, of course, is not yet 100% final and some details will probably change. Yes, there are still no textures, but this will change as soon as the geometry of the costume is completely finished.
