A bit of life on Tatooine

In the process of writing game logic, I had one question, the answer to which you friends know :) As you know, the Path of Lust -  is for adults, and although this is probably not yet noticeable, but do not worry - the most delicious is ahead :) There will be many different erotic scenes, both with the participation of Kara, and those that simply create the necessary gaming atmosphere. So, there is a question about the first.

I originally planned the scenes with the participation of Kara in the form of cut scenes that start at the right moments and act according to the prescribed scenario, and after that the character returns to the control of the player. But perhaps you want to control Kara’s actions during sex and influence the process with your own actions?

Kara's visual style

Well, while Mos Eisley is being built, I simultaneously finalized the general visual style for Kara, because no matter how good she is naked, she still has to wear clothes :)

Game plans

Hey folks.

According to the results of the survey, it became clear that many support the idea of ​​changing the plot of the game so as to preserve the original essence of the Jedi Knights and at the same time preserve the main character as a Jedi along with the erotic component of the game. Well, so be it :)

So, Kara Silero was expelled from the Order for her commitment to passion and bodily pleasures, as well as their use along with the traditional methods of the Jedi (by the way, quite effectively), which, of course, did not like to the Jedi Council. At the same time, Kara is not going to deviate from her principles and wants to prove that her methods are no worse than traditional ones, and in some cases even surpass them. Therefore, she begins the hunt for the elusive gang of mercenaries selling young women into slavery, in order to stop them and thus earn the pardon of the Order. At the same time, Kara remains on the Light side of the Force and does not use dark methods.

Thus, this change in plot will save the classic history of the Star Wars universe and at the same time introduce an erotic component into it, without affecting the canons. You can use the Jedi’s abilities in the game, as well as Kara’s attractiveness and sexuality :) But you should beware of the many temptations of the Dark Side - you must not cross this line, otherwise you will lose.

Very soon there will be a demo version of the game with the first part of the Mos Eisley spaceport and you can feel like a Jedi exile :)

While the process of creating the Mos Eisley is in progress, I want to know your opinion on one issue.

I often see feedback on the idea of ​​my project, which telling in general that I have too distorted the very essence of the Jedi Knights. Although I warned that my idea, in view of the specifics of the game, is alternative and does not fully comply with the canons.

However, for many fans Jedi and bodily pleasures are fundamentally incompatible. But I want the game to still like more people.

Therefore, I had the following idea of ​​restructuring the plot: Kara remains a Jedi, but an exile from the Order. She was expelled precisely because of her commitment to passion and sensual pleasures, including using them as a means to achieve her goals. At the same time, despite the numerous temptations, Kara remains on the light side of the Force, she wants to prove that her way of acting is no worse than the classical teaching of the Jedi. To do this, she tracks down the elusive gang of mercenary kidnappers, hoping for their capture to earn the forgiveness of the Jedi Council and return to the Order.

Skills leveling system.

As I see, my work causes you mostly positive emotions, so I continue to develop :)

At the moment I am working on the software base of the game. It includes such things as character control, its interaction with the environment, the system of dialogues and quests, inventory, trading system and other necessary trivia. And, including the character skills system. That's about what I want to consult with you.

Firstly, is it necessary in principle? As you remember, in the story Kara is a Jedi Knight, which means a character who already has a certain set of skills. Does it make sense to make them customizable and improvable?

Secondly, if the system of improvements is needed, then by what principle should it work? As you know, in games there are two basic systems for improving skills: the automatic increase of all skills when achieve a certain experience (as in online games) and the accumulation of experience points that the player independently distributes to the necessary skills. Which way do you find most appropriate here?

And yes, skin color is not the only one. :) For each race, a set of characteristic colors is presented, any of which can be easily selected. And yes, as you can see, the color of the blade of the lightsaber is also changing :) Well, except that there is no red, but we are not in a hurry to the dark side, right? :)

I have almost completed the character customization system and in the next day or two, everyone will be able to try it out. As you can see, I improved the graphics, added a new skin shader, so now it looks much more natural, well, and brought some more trivia to mind.

New game name


Hey!

In the process of developing a game plot, I had one idea that I want to share with you and hear your opinion.

In my opinion, the name for the game for adults, containing direct hints on the contents of the game (in particular, "lust") - this is banal. It seems to me that the name may be simpler, and the players will understand the whole essence as the game progresses, without knowing in advance what they will have to face :)

And on the background of these thoughts, I came up with a new name for the game, which you can see on the attached image - Star Wars: Undercover. Considering that according to the plot, Kara tracks down mercenary-kidnappers and work under the guise of either a mercenary or even just whore, but not a jedi - the name is quite justified.

But of course, I want to hear your opinion on this. What do you think?

Game graphics style

Hello.

According to a recent survey about the starting planet for the game, Tatooine is leading with a rather large margin. Well, let's start with him. And the truth, where else to look for gangsters, right?

Of course, initially the location will be quite small, most likely a small fragment of one of the cities, for example, Mos Eisley. But over time, the accessible part of the city will expand, new tasks, quests and characters will appear. The initial part, as I think, will be ready within the next month and you can immediately see it.

And now one question. While geometry for buildings and environments in creating, I want to know from you what type of graphics you would like to see in the game? In particular, it can be photorealism, it can be hand-painted graphics in Fortnite or Overwatch style, or it can be more drawn graphics in the style of the Clone Wars TV series.

Character customization system

Hi.

Although Kara has its own specific look in the promotional materials, I decided that shouldn’t cut the diversity of the Star Wars universe :) And accordingly give you, the players, the opportunity to create your own unique image for the main character.

I am working on it now. As you can see, the main settings window of the character is almost ready and only some software trifles are left to do so that everything comes to life.

The opportunities of system at the moment:

  • Choosing a race (for now: human, twi'lek, zabrak and togruta)
  • Adjustment of body shapes, choice of skin color
  • Setting face details
  • Choosing hairstyles and hair colors (for those races that have hair, of course)
  • Choosing a decor for the face and body (piercing, tattoos, scars)
  • Settings the lightsaber (the look of the hilt and the color of the blade)
  • Choosing a style of clothing

In the future, perhaps some more opportunities will be added. Your suggestions in the comments, of course, will be considered :)
