The episode kicks off with the much-anticipated re-ranking of trainees, revealing the latest positions after Episode 2’s performances. Right after, the newly anointed A-rank trainees enter a high-stakes mini-contest to become the center for the “Pick Me” stage. Each A-level trainee delivers a one-minute solo appeal, and the center spot is decided by votes from all the trainees. After the winner is picked and the “Pick Me” stage is completed, we jump into the beginning of the next round. Everyone is divided into 16 groups of 8. They have 8 songs for this round, meaning two groups will perform the same song, and while some groups get the songs they want, others clearly do not.

Six months have passed since Jun-Pyo disappeared, leaving Jan-Di to navigate life on her own. With the help of the F3, she raises funds and travels to Macau in hopes of finding him. It takes some time, but once she does find him, he just ignores her.
Struggling on her own in a foreign city, she nearly falls victim to a pickpocket, but is saved by a stylish, outspoken girl named Ha Jae-Kyung. Later, while wandering the streets alone, Jan-Di is cornered by a group of thieves — but the F3 arrive just in time to protect her. The episode ends on a bittersweet note: while Jan-Di smiles for her friends during their sightseeing around Macau, her thoughts remain fixed on Jun-Pyo’s cold behavior and what it might mean for them.

We start this new drama in a very heartbreaking situation in the year 2009. We meet Im Sol, a girl hospitalized and grappling with paralysis following an accident. In her darkest moment, she's inspired and saved by the words of Ryu Sunjae, a rising idol debuting in a band named ECLIPSE. His words keep her moving forward, and as we jump to 2022, we find that she's become one of his biggest fans. But while she seems to be doing much better, he's now the one who faces dark times. After she learns about his passing just hours after meeting him face-to-face, Sol is transported back in time to 2008 when the two of them were both 19 and attending schools beside each other, all thanks to a watch he once owned.
In all honesty, we were a little wary of this drama, but seriously enjoyed the first episode. With our worries put to rest, we can't wait to see the next episode.
Our 8k celebration stream was another wild ride with lots of awesome videos sent in from K-Cordies. We weren't able to do a full pass and get to everyone, but we enjoyed everything we watched, had a lot of fun with K-Cordies in chat, and look forward to getting to the rest in future catch-up streams.

Haruhi Fujioka, a scholarship student at the prestigious Ouran Academy, accidentally stumbles into the exclusive Host Club while searching for a quiet study spot. In her rush to escape, she breaks a priceless vase valued at ¥8 million and is forced to work it off by becoming the club’s errand boy. Her plain, androgynous appearance leads the club members to assume she’s a guy—until they discover she’s actually a girl—and her natural charm lands her a spot in the Host Club.
A regular customer named Kanako Kasugazaki enlists the Host Club’s help because she’s in trouble with her fiancé, Tooru Suzushima, who plans to study abroad. Haruhi is recruited to approach Tooru while posing as a female admirer. Although Tooru is flattered, he reveals he still cares for Kanako. The club orchestrates a heartfelt reunion at an upcoming dance: Kanako is crowned queen and receives a kiss on the cheek from Haruhi, while Tamaki’s over-the-top interruption leads to an accidental (and comedic) kiss on the lips instead.

In this first episode we're introduce to Go Hye-mi, a talented, prideful young woman dreaming of becoming an opera star. But it's clear right away that things aren't what it seems when she's chased by debt collectors. She's saved by a young man named Si-hyuk but honestly, she doesn't seem that grateful. In fact, the girl has a bit of an attitude problem but its hard not to feel bad for her when we find out that her family is facing financial ruin and her father has ditched her and her younger sister, leaving the two all on their own. Now with dept collectors coming after her, Hye-mi has to give up her Opera dreams and audition for Kirin Arts High School. We're also introduced to Kang Oh-yuk, a teacher at Kirin struggling to keep his job who also has a history with Hye-mi. We end with Hye-mi and her best friend Baek-hee auditioning together but when Baek-hee is accepted instead of Hye-mi, Hye-mi has to swallow her pride.

This album felt like a resume with the first song being dark and sexy and the other two being more light, sweet, and inspirational, one even having some OST vibes. Overall great album, even if it only had three songs on it.

As Episode 2 continues, the trainees officially move into their dorms, filled with excitement and nerves about the survival journey ahead. With the initial evaluations behind them, they begin practicing the show’s theme song, “It’s Me (Pick Me)”, which will be their first major group performance.
For many, it’s a steep challenge — some trainees struggle with choreography or vocal timing, while others work hard to improve and climb in ranking. The atmosphere becomes more intense as trainees push themselves to make a strong impression.
The episode ends with the mentors preparing to reassign rankings based on each trainee’s effort and progress during practice — but we’re left hanging right before the updated grades are revealed, building anticipation for what’s to come.

This episode turns up the drama with danger, loyalty, and some major emotional tension. After Jan-di is kidnapped, Jun-pyo shows up to save her, proving he’ll risk everything for her. But the pressure from both families deepens — Jun-pyo’s mother tries to buy Jan-di’s silence with money, and Jan-di’s mom almost accepts it to help her struggling husband. Jan-di returns the money, refusing to give in.
The group heads to a ski resort, where Jun-pyo gives Jan-di a one-of-a-kind necklace — a symbol of how serious he is. But when it goes missing, he lashes out, thinking she didn’t care. Jan-di braves a snowstorm to find it, and when Jun-pyo hears, he escapes his mother’s grip and searches for her himself. They reunite in a snowbound cabin, forced to stay warm together… and share an unforgettable kiss.
But the moment doesn’t last — Jun-pyo’s mother pulls him away again, this time out of the country, leaving Jan-di heartbroken. She doesn’t even get to say goodbye… but Ji-hoo is quietly there, offering comfort in the silence he knows she needs.
