• A sample pack from Abstract Elements (58 samples: beats, basses, FX, pads, etc.). It was once released on Meth Lab, but since the label’s gone, I thought it might be useful to share.

Synths these days have become so powerful, it got me thinking: is it possible to make a FULL TUNE out of just one instance? Turns out it is!

Bass Presets + Pads, Tops, Cassette Cuts: Pack 26 & 27 🐬

Oiii!! 🤓

Didn't upload any presets last month, sorry about that! But I’ve made up for it in this one. This pack covers the last two months, and here’s what’s inside:

• 12 Bass presets for Pigments
  Some are pretty heavy, but most have a filter so you can make them deeper easily if needed

• 50 Cassette Cuts
  I used some of my cassettes, messed with pitch and the Kaoss Pad on my mixer, and recorded loads of random FX, pads, clicks, etc.

• 15 Pad samples from Sumu
  Rendered some wide and strange pads from Sumu, a cool spectral synth with unique spatial effects

• 10 Top Loops with noise layers
  These are for filling out the high end in your drums. I often use white noise w sidechain or heavily processed rides to do the job. It's quite boring process tbh, so I’ve made some pre-made loops to save time in the future. They’ve already got sidechaining and some gritty artifacts, work best with classic dnb drum patterns like k---s-----k-s---

Track Breakdown: Siren Eyes w/ Doktor & DRIIA 👁

Another track breakdown from the Hypnotics EP: a song we made with DRIIA & Doktor. Took me a couple of years to finish this one, from the first sketch to the final release. In this video, I’ll walk you through how I made the synths, pads, and bassline (good old Massive!), show you how I processed the vocals, and of course, take you through my drum chain.

I’m also including a wee sample pack with samples and presets from the track, so you can use them in your own productions.

It’s been two years since I started Patreon, so I think it’s time for a few changes! Here they are:

• New Mentorship Tier (£35): For those who want more direct support with their music. Each month you can choose one of the following:

  • 1-on-1 call or lesson

  • Detailed video review of your track (40 min video)

  • I work on your project and record a video (FL Studio or Ableton)

  • Mastering or stem mastering for one of your tracks

• Producer Tier is now £6: I’ve adjusted the price to better match the monthly content (samples, presets, etc.).

• Most videos will now go on YouTube, but you'll still get early access + extras like project files, samples, etc.

Exclusive 26: 'Cravings' Ambient Rework 🩸

Last month’s exclusive is an ambient rework of Cravings, a track released a month ago on the Hypnotics EP. I went back to the original tape, built around that Minilogue loop, and used most of the raw recordings to shape an even deeper, more hypnotic atmosphere. Use with caution - might cause mild dissociation (in the best way possible).

Minilogue Snapshots - Stabs, Chords, Note One-Shots

Some loops also feature FX from the Yamaha SPX90 for extra flavour. While the focus is on loops, there are also 100+ one-shots included for added flexibility. Everyone’s raving about the 808 and 909, while the 606 quietly flexes in the background. Ambient Pigments + Crunchy Drumloops: Pack 25 🛶

Hey folks! Hope you're all doing well.

Sorry for the delay with this pack - it’s been a busy month releasing new music, and I didn’t want to put it out half-baked, you know what i mean? So I took a couple of days off to prep some nice stuff for you.

I’m really loving the presets I’ve got this month - already started a couple of sketches with them. You’ll get 5 presets for Pigments, mostly ambient, but there’s a bassline in there too.

For samples, I’ve made 33 drum/perc loops using the Pocket Operator PO-33. They’re built from random trash recordings and a few older samples from the patreon packs. Some of them have a proper vibe and crunchiness, so hopefully they’ll spark some ideas for you :)

And of course, I’ve included the Cravings sample pack again in case you missed it in the last post, feel free to use those in your tunes.

Just uploaded a breakdown of my track ‘Cravings’ from the upcoming Hypnotics EP. In the video, I walk you through the making of the track - from the Minilogue patch I started with, to the processing and VSTs I used. I’ll also chat a bit about WaveShaper (because why not) and share some insights into my mixing process.

Exclusive 24: Trash Bin Galaxy (previously cassette-only) 🔮

My 24th exclusive is a track that was previously released on cassette only (Études). It was a work in progress until I lost the project file – so the last rendered version became the final one. Sometimes that’s the only way a tune gets finished, isn’t it? :)

It’s exactly what the title says – an attempt to make something beautiful from unused glitches and discarded sample scraps I found in my “Sliced Audio” folder (FL Studio’s stash of every chopped or Edison-cut sound from every project). A small exercise in finding beauty in things usually considered ugly.

Minilogue Cuts + Pigments Pads: Patrebop Pack 24 🥨

Here’s my latest pack for you - I’ve sampled and cut some Stabs, Chords & Notes from my Minilogue patches. There are a hundred of them, all taken from a handful of patches but with different notes and some tweaks.

This month, I also managed to make 7 presets for Pigments - mainly using the additive engine, but also played around with some granular stuff. Got some nice pads and keys in there!

Making a tune with 3xOSC ONLY: This Sunday 17:00 UTC

Hey folks! This Sunday, I’ve decided to do a free stream, making a track using just one synth, the one and only - 3xOSC, the classic FL Studio plugin that’s barely changed in 25 years. There’ve just been so many cool plugins and updates lately that my brain really wants to get back to the basics and reset, at least for one night :)

This Tuesday at 17:00, let’s dive into the sonic rabbit hole of Sumu, the new semi-modular spectral synth by Madrona Labs. 🐇

TL;DR for the synth: You can resynthesise any sound into 64 spectral voices and mess with them with different modules to create wild, otherworldly effects.

Join me as I poke around, experiment, and probably get a bit lost in Sumu’s endless sound design potential.
