Chapter 1 Script Complete!

I debated on whether or not to make update posts in regards to the new comic but the phrase "Communication is Key" comes to mind. I'd rather make too many posts then leave y'all in the dark. With that said, the votes are in and by a pretty small margin "Univer-sary" is our new comic!

For a brief recap here is a revised summary:

“Univer-sary” [College, Comedy, Friendship] (30-50 Pages)

[MC] is heading off to college! Unfortunately, her grades weren’t as good as they could have been and she only received one acceptance letter. To Cavalier Universary, despite not attending a visit, and barely remembering that she'd applied, but how bad could it possibly be? At least, she’ll still able to pursue her nursing degree.

I've just finished writing the first chapter of the story (Around 20 or so pages?). I'm not sure how many chapters it'll be, but at least 3 is in the works for the moment.

As I've said previously, this is my first solo comic so you'll have to bare with me while I work on all this ^^  I'm also planning on stream-lining the patreon tiers before I reopen, primarily to cut some work back and to reduce stress so I can focus more exclusively on the comics (and some other rewards, like colouring-in pages). I'll be releasing more details in the days/week to come but don't worry too much.

New Comic Voting!

Alrighty! So, I've sorted out a few blurbs for the new comic that I'm super excited to show all of you ^^ I've written them up to be a bit vague deliberately so I have some wiggle room in terms of details (and so it's still surprising!). They range from super lewd, and a bit on the shorter side, to much longer form with some romance, and friendship-ness.

Also, if you've got any ideas of your own for a comic, feel free to comment them and if it's super popular I'll consider adding it to the list and do another round of voting ^^

Option 1 - “Ghostly Roommates” [Short-form, PWP, regression, implied “ghostification??”] (15-20 Pages)

[MC] purchases a large mansion for dirt cheap after struggling to make ends meet for years, on his first night there strange things begin to happen. Even so, being stuck with the place might not be so bad as he first thought, with an overly motherly ghost haunting the house maybe being babied won’t be so bad. 

Option 2 - “Summer Job” [Country life, Long-form, Romance] (60+ Pages)

[MC] is invited to his Uncles farm for the summer to get away from his busy city life, and falls in love with ‘Country living’. His Uncle hired a horse handler to help out at the farm, and the two grow close until the farm hand discovers [MC]s “little” secret. Hi-jinks ensue as the two explore abdl, and the country side together.

Option 3 - “Univer-sary” [College, Comedy, Friendship] (30-50 Pages)

To a Universary (must be misspelled?) they’ve not actually been to, but how bad could that be? Fortunately, they’re still able to pursue their legal degree. 

Pausing Billing + Major Update

Until further notice Camp Crinkle: Out After Dark is on hiatus, at least for the next few months. In light of this, I'll be pausing the billing so no one will be charged until I've sorted somethings out. In the mean time, I'll be working on some new projects -still comic related I promise- over the next month. But while you won't be charged for June please keep an eye out for some polls, questions and what not while I work on the new story, as I'd greatly appreciate any and all input. As always, my primary concern is to continue to provide new and fun content for all of y'all! ^^

Fleurs Footnotes: 

Did you ever wonder what Sammy saw in that room, back in Page 13 of the first comic? Well, now we know! Looks like it wasn’t just Riddlr having a laugh at poor Sammy’s expense. Very glad he wasn’t set off by this. That’ll teach him to ask for help next time, instead of just wandering off on his own~!

We’ll be coming back to Camp and revisiting this scene much later, but this is a good example of what everyone should expect from this iteration of Camp Crinkle. All characters are over the age of consent, and remain that way. Other than this accident, everything depicted in Camp Crinkle is deliberately written to portray consensual acts.

Hey, so I've been pretty sick (with covid) for the last few days, and while it seems to be slowly getting better I don't think I'll be able to get the new page out on time. I had planned to have it posted by the 2nd, but I think I might have to push it back a touch, maybe to the 5th?

Camp Crinkle 2 + Writer Change

Hey! So we're nearing the end of Camp Crinkle 1, it's time to reveal some things!

Firstly, I'm planning on having the rest of CC1 out by the end of this month, since I don't think it'd be fair for Camprs who only want to read CC1 to have to pay for full month to get the final page. So I'm going to be giving them a bonus page in the form of the final page for the comic! (Expect them to be out soonish)

We're also going to be changing posting schedules, I've yet to finalise the dates, but I'm thinking around the 2nd, and 16th, though these are subject to change and I may be adding a third page depending on how the workload feels.

Also, the new comic will be set in the same universe, but it's going to be pretty lewd, so heads up. At the bottom of this post will be a list of general themes/a brief synopsis of the story. 

Lastly, the writer for the comics are changing. Many thanks to Nivius (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/nivius) for all her hard work and dedication; she certainly put out some great stuff. But since Nivi was having some personal issues (we promise she's okay), her Mommy Fleur (https://fleurbellerose.carrd.co/) is going to be taking over, and she'll be writing for the comics for the foreseeable future. She has lots in store for Camp Crinkle 2 and possibly beyond! She'll also be contributing some writer's notes when certain pages release as additional bits of wisdom while the comic runs. 

But enough from me, let's hear a little bit about the new comic from the lovely writer Fleur!

Camp Crinkle: Out After Dark is a comic within the Camp Crinkle universe which differs from the direction the main comic has been progressing. This edition of Camp Crinkle will contain a lot of sexual scenes, and we want to make sure readers understand what to expect, especially considering the first taste of this new content is featured on the first page.

That isn't all there is to it, however. There is still a fair amount of storytelling, and with a change of writers (from Nivius to Fleur) also comes a change in writing style. This iteration of Camp Crinkle will not always be direct in what it conveys, sometimes relying on the reader to infer some details of the characters through intentional hints left among dialogue, expressions, or a character's surroundings. Some things need not be so directly expressed to be understood, and we hope that this will in turn provide a more captivating work.

We're very excited to reveal that this comic will mainly feature the relationship between Del, a nonbinary dominant who is just beginning to explore a more caring side, and Kitty, a transfeminine little who is timid, though opens up rather quickly to Del's talented and compassionate approach to tempering Kitty's fears. We will eventually be able to see how their relationship has developed over time, and a bit of progress within Kitty's transition.

For those of you that require it, there will be content warnings for comic pages that contain sexual or otherwise lewd content. Among some kinks featured are ageplay, petplay, and chastity, though others may be featured as well so if you feel you need to make sure to keep an eye on those content warnings! All interactions are also going to be clearly consensual; it ain't hot if you can't not.

Finally, a thank you to all Patrons thus far. You all have made it possible to continue on with Camp Crinkle, and in return, we're hoping to exceed expectations in this and future works.
