Casey here to answer this question. It was kind of the plan. Because we do short (for us) 20 min sets. I don't want to spend much time with an opening. I'm playing with great people so we don't really need an opening. We can communicate clearly through organic improv and (mostly) all understand which game we're playing and/or when we don't have a game but are exploring or discovering things until we latch onto a game. That said, I want the first scene to start off strong. So we do a living room opening (talking as ourselves about our real lives) until we find the first scene idea. Then, because we don't have a long opening with a wealth of ideas we generated to pull from, editing and starting from scratch too many times feels like a bad move. So instead we use tags to follow and play a game, and then follow a new shiny object at some point and see what the game becomes there. So I can kind of hide my edits in tags and keeping the shows energy moving forward. Rather than stopping and resetting the energy a bunch with edits. Does that make sense?

Hiya, So couldn't help but notice the first set was like all Tag outs to new scenes. You had some longer scenes with heightening moves at the top, and then just went all out on Tags . And that kind of just became the form. Was that part of the plan? I loved it, Never scene that before. It could have just been what happened in the moment but curious nonetheless.
