Sharing the latest progress updates.
We've started working on a new primitive creature enemy called "Zapter," which moves in swarms.
In its normal state, it will use a "Swallow Attack."
In its charged state (still in development), it will perform "Hard Vore" (which can be turned OFF).
When Zapter spots a delicious-looking prey, it clicks its claws and leaps at the target.
If caught in its normal state, it will slowly savor the prey as it swallows them whole.
We'll be adding more animations, including swallowing motions, belly scenes, and the charged state’s restraint attack.
Also, completely unrelated, but doesn’t this creature look kind of like custard? I think it might be the most delicious-looking one among my creations.
After posting the game on itch.io, I received feedback that instant death from falling felt too punishing.
I agree—falling off and touching an enemy should have similar consequences, yet the former had a harsher penalty, which seemed unfair.
So, I changed the system:
Now, when you fall, you'll take minor damage but automatically jump back up.
The more you fall consecutively, the higher the damage multiplier will become.
This should reduce the frustration of instant deaths while keeping the challenge intact.
This isn’t directly related to the game update, but I wanted to report on it since it took some time.
I investigated the issue myself, contacted the official support, and even consulted an IT professional friend.
Conclusion: It was a false positive.
You can play the game without any worries. 😊

Update Zapter’s graphics (Top priority)
Create and implement a map system illustration (This could take as much time as making an entire character)
Add signposts to guide players across all maps
That’s it for updates! Now, I have a few announcements.
Previously, someone suggested releasing my game on itch.io, so I gave it a shot.
Honestly, since it had already been out for a while, I thought getting 50 downloads would be a good outcome, but…
It reached 1,600 downloads! 😲
I was shocked (in a good way)!
I've received not only praise but also valuable feedback on improvements and system adjustments, so I’ll continue working hard on development.
Since PGMMV is an older tool, I wanted to get comfortable with Unity before finishing "Jink of Knight"
To take breaks from Zapter’s development and other work, I started practicing Unity.
Then, Shop Eipontaro released an amazing model, and…
I fell in love with it at first sight. 😍
That’s when I thought:
"I want a simulator where this character eats me as a snack."
So, using all the skills I’ve learned from practice, I started making something like that.

I’ll post details and planned features in a separate article, so check it out if you're interested!
Of course, my top priority is still "Jink of Knight", so this new project will be updated sporadically.
Look forward to it, but in moderation.
That’s all for now!
I’ll keep working hard until the end of the month—thank you for your support! 🎮✨
