Character Naming for "In The Red Light Backrooms"
Added 2022-10-26 01:04:06 +0000 UTCJust a reminder that if you want put a name (yours, anyone's) on one of the characters in my upcoming short story, now is the time to put it forward.
I'm (finally!) on the home straight. There's just the last couple of pages to type up and then a solid day of editing. Once again it's far longer than I initially intended, clocking in at over 10,000 words.
The plan is to give myself a solid day of finishing up and editing tomorrow, then post sometime Thursday after I've given it a final editing sweep. I'll also submit to Literotica at the same time. It's too late for their contest, but I like to put a new story up there every Halloween if only to show I'm still alive.

2022-10-26 08:38:08 +0000 UTCIf the character is going to have a bad end and deserves it, then a variation of Brad Bourne would be my vote. Fantasy schadenfreude for someone who thought himself a nice guy but was not particularly nice to women by anyone's else measurement.
