Okay, here’s the deal: ever since New Management wrapped up, I’ve still got three short films in the works plus a bunch of new scene remakes. If you’re in my server, you can check out this stuff in the WIP or chat sections. But since none of it’s finished yet, I’m not gonna post anything on FANBOX and spam everyone’s Gmail with notifications for incomplete junk. I’m just working on these things while figuring out my next steps. Let me fill you guys in on my current plans.
If you’ve checked out my annual plan, you’ll see that from 3/10 to 4/10, I was supposed to be working on:
March
• Create a video featuring Yamada Ryo, as per the lucky draw request.
Truth is, I’m only just starting on this video now. I’m hoping I can get it out on time by 4/10 for you all to see. If I can’t, I’ll delay it a bit to make sure the quality’s solid, but I don’t think it’ll be too long. Working on New Management leveled up my skills a ton, so I’m not too stressed about it. Let me talk about a few things you guys might be interested in.
The first thing is, how can I finish a new video in five days? The answer is by cutting down on length and details. I know, I’m like you—I want every video to be like New Management with three minutes, tons of shots, and loads of details. But if I do that, you’d probably only see me update once every six months, and that’d get boring for everyone. So, I have to compromise. But don’t worry, even with these compromises, I’ll make sure the quality still holds up.
The second thing I want to talk about is this: as you pointed out, Requiem has six characters. That basically makes the workload insane because I need to create death scenes for all six and necro them, all in the same video. I can pretty much expect to be overworking myself (which I’m used to anyway). So even if I start on 4/10, I can’t guarantee I’ll finish by 5/10. Honestly, I can say with near certainty that I won’t finish by 5/10 unless a miracle happens. That means I’ll likely eat into the time originally set aside for May’s video:
May
• Remake the Picnic video.
So the Picnic video will either get delayed or turn into some short films with extra shots. But I absolutely need to keep June free because in July, I’m tackling Illya’s yuri commission, which is super tough since it’s an area I’ve never worked in before. So basically, my expectation is to release Ryo’s video on 4/10—I’ll finish it as fast as I can—then start on Requiem. That might take from 4/10 to 6/10, but I’m aiming to pull off death scenes and necro for all six characters. Trust me, you’ll feel like it’s worth it.
Another thing worth mentioning is that all six characters in Requiem weren’t made by me, and neither was the scene. They were created and provided by our Necro friend. I only tweaked some lighting effects, and I’ll be using the six characters he gave me in the video without making any personal changes. I think the characters he made still have a lot of fans who’ll love them, so I’m keeping the girls as they are. If you want to get to know this creator or check out his other work, you can find him on my server. He doesn’t have a Pixiv account, so I can’t point you to a homepage for him.
Basically, I think I’ll finish Ryo’s video in the next few days since there aren’t any overly complex new techniques to figure out. Most of what the winner requested has already been tested in New Management. Once I finish and release Ryo’s video, I’ll share more updates about Requiem. I see Requiem’s production difficulty as the next New Management, and I’ll treat it as a flagship release. As for Level 6 or the short films I mentioned earlier that I’m working on, those will drop randomly whenever I suddenly finish them.
Okay, that’s everything. If you have any questions, feel free to hop into my server and ask, or just drop a comment below. I’d be happy to answer anything you’ve got
