Let's learn bass sound design with Ableton Collision, Photek style (video + presets download)

Alright guys!
I've been getting into doing basses with Ableton Collision, which is a much less covered instrument.

Video will teach you how it sounds and sworks, so you'll be on your way designing basses with it.
VIDEO HERE

I actually uploaded the project used in the video – it contains the three variations of  (Live 11).
Download the project here if you want the bass sounds I'm doing on the video.

WHAT'S NEXT? 🎥
I've got quite a few requests regarding tracker action, so the next Patreon-exclusive video will be covering how to play breaks with Renoise.
I'll prob do 1-3 videos relating to different things with Renoise, but the first/next one will be about the different ways of playing breaks with it…so will be covering the different workflows.
Coming soon, so stick around!

Oh thanks, should check that out!

Just a side thought. If you haven't heard it, there's a fun 2 part "podcast" on youtube called Tap Tempo w Matt Lange (001, 002). He has some chill talks with Photek, Teebee, Calyx and a few others about production stuff.

Yeah, Photek was completely in a league in his own…almost too good for DNB, ha! But no wonder he got hired for TV/movie soundtracks. Impeccable sound design every time. Renoise will come! Yeah, I think I've encountered the same issue with Redux…I *think* its GUI doesn't even have an undo/back button!

I see the name Photek and instantly geek out. I was so obsessed with studying his break techniques for years. But really just love that he was able to standout doing some unusual things. Ni Ten Ichi Ryu and 3rd Sequence (from Wipeout XL/2097) are my alltime favs. But enough about that. This was a fun exploration. There are so many things in Ableton I probably would have missed if it weren't for these vids of yours. Also looking forward to Renoise. Ive had to relearn it like 4+ times now. I have to keep using it to keep the shortcutsand FX commands in my brain. I did try out Redux as well. My only sadness on it is not getting used to the fact I cannot press Ctrl+Z to undo while using it. I made a bunch of progress a few times, made a little mistake, then my Undo reflex kicks in. Then BOOP. The whole plugin is gone. But Redo simply adds it back with a blank slate. The last event Ableton remembered was adding Redux to a channel. So that got a little tricky. Decided to just keep it in Renoise if im gonna do tracking.
