Great video, Alanna! I must admit that I have that Platform 5 book (although I've got last year's edition). In terms of the numbers, they mainly tell you the overall unit number (e.g. 395005) and the individual carriage numbers (e.g. 39051/2/3/4/5/6 - some EMUs have much more of a mixture of carriage numbers). Other details tell you about the livery (Southeastern Blue), owner (Eversholt), operator (Southeastern) and depot (Ashford). The first part of the unit number tells you the class of train - Class 395 Javelin, which apart from the Eurostar, is the fastest passenger train in Great Britain at 140mph. Some trains have names (that one is called Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson). The unit and carriage numbers are visible on the outside of the train (e.g see https://youtu.be/KeomcvLVzuw?t=127 for an example from one of your videos)

I think that Royal Mail may have lost it. Email sent to Edenbridge for investigation by yourselves. Hope the Italy trip went without a hitch and you didn't break the bank on Italian designer shoes.

One day Alanna will hunt down the mystery glitter bomber and they will rue the day.... π Alanna - "This smells kinda weird" (goes in for a closeup sniff). It's literally called "This Smells like My Bollocks"..... π Also, I feel like bollocks is a very British word for some reason and it always makes me laugh to hear Alanna say it. π
