May Book Club Review - LOVED IT!
Added 2022-05-29 14:01:01 +0000 UTCThis month (and technically, last month...) I read A Man Called Ove and I loved it! You can buy it here if you'd like to try it, too.
It was such an easy read, lots of good characters and you really felt like you knew them! Great story, lots of feels - definitely reminded me of an earlier Book Club read Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine (which I also loved).
Many of you commented that it was a movie a few years ago, a Swedish film from 2015! Apparently, they're making another with Tom Hanks! Guess it wasn't American-enough... (although Tom Hanks is lovely and it'll probably be great lol)
I would definitely recommend this book and I'll probably bring it home this summer and make my mom read it!
Did you guys read it? What did you think? No spoilers!

I enjoyed this one too, it managed to be dark but light hearted. I thought it had a similar vibe to "The 100yr old man that climed out a window". Maybe it's a Scandinavian thing...??

2022-05-29 16:21:47 +0000 UTCI’m going to start reading it after my English exam on Tuesday! I’ve been trying to avoid movies or shows that are depressing or have death in them because of life/family/mental health stuff lol, I’m hoping this book is ok for that! I’m excited to start reading it!
