Progress Update

Work continues on v0.2.0 of Thunderous Business. Today I spent some time playtesting; I found - and fixed - numerous bugs, new and old while making sure my newest additions worked.
Since my last progress update I have added another "enthrallable" character, a basic inventory system, and have changed how text messages from the girls appear (making it look better on all sizes of screens). I've also made some more progress on the main quest: I've written some more, and have finally begun to implement portions of it into the game.
As for future work, I still expect to add at least one more "enthrallable" character before the main quest will be functional, then fully implement the main quest story into the game.
Things are getting quite complicated; I've attached a screenshot of the Twine window to show just how convoluted things are. It sometimes feels like every change I make requires 10 changes elsewhere, but I'm quite excited by how the world I'm creating is filling out.
(Un)fortunately, my real job is currently unaffected by the ongoing pandemic, so I still have to show up at work, which means less time for making the game, but I'm chugging along, hoping to create an update you'll all enjoy, one well worth the wait.
