In this episode we discuss the recent visits conducted by Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban to Kiev, Moscow and Beijing. These visits have been loudly (and somewhat theatrically) denounced by the EU hierarchy but it is likely that at least some of the European leaders are looking for a way out now. We also discuss how most "anti fascism" in Europe is a fraud and why this is the case.

In which we discuss the detail of the landslide election of the least popular government in British history. If that contradiction seems bizarre then listen as we cover the quirks of the electoral system, the collapse of the Tories, the role of Farage, the implosion of the SNP and the long term decay of the labour party.

As the results roll in we look at the bourgeois travesty that is laughable described as an "election". During the programme we come face to face with the fact that long term state agent Keir Starmer (if indeed that is his real name) becomes Prime Minister with the lowest support for anyone winning the office in modern times.

In this special episode we look at the absolute debacle that was the first presidential debate in the US. In doing so we lay out our general theory of the bureaucratisation of the state under imperialism and how this relates to the crises of the two parties of the ruling class in the USA. We then work our way through the entire debate and try to pick out the various lie, misrepresentations and insanity indulged in by both men. This is an epic one so you may want to get a strong drink before listening.

In this programme we reflect on the recent release of Julian Assange. We revisit the early years of Assange's career when he was treated as a celebrity and what caused the US and British state to start their pursuit of him. The 2016 leaks from the democratic party seem to have been a real turning point in this case so we consider that, the case of Bernie Sanders and the terrible careers of the Clintons.

In doing so we look at the negative long term effects of the reform period which distorts class consciousness long after the reforms from that period have vanished.

In this episode I examine the 1987 film by Paul Verhoeven, the classic, Robocop. In this review I look at the film itself, how it fits into American film making after the collapse of the studio system and the brief flourishing the independent spirit of the 1970s, the reactionary films of that period and the tradition of the western.
Outro music is an orchestral version of the Robocop theme composed by Basil Poledouris.
