Away Next Week

Hey everyone,

Just letting you know that I'm heading out of town with family on the 10th and won't be back until the 16th, so I'm afraid there won't be any uploads or streams from me next week.

In brighter news, with the completion of the grab move that I'm going to upload as soon as I'm done with this post, Roxxie is inching closer to completion. I have one more grab to do after this (which I don't really have a solid idea for, so suggestions welcome), and then I just need to do some KO animations for the rest of her regular attacks, like I did with the breast crush. It did also occur to me that I'll need to do some 'reset' animations for Roxxie if you escape her grabs, but those won't be particularly time-intensive or difficult.

I'm still weighing up whether I want to do the extra, secret bossfight I've had in mind for the Texas project for a while, or move straight to (probably) Time Wolf 2 after Roxxie's fight is fully complete, but I still have some time to decide on that yet. I also need to port Texas in Trouble over to Game Maker 2 at some point, and get some proper loading screens in there so it's not such a laptop-killing resource hog, but that will likely be after all other content is complete.

Anyway, I'll be back to streaming on the 18th, with more Macroxxie ass for you all, so until then stay safe and take care of yourselves.

See you in a week!

Quantum Knight - Demo

Hi everyone!

The first demo of the Quantum Knight project is now available for download HERE and with it I'm launching the second Patreon page, splitting Texas in Trouble content to this one, and the Quantum Knight content to the new one, HERE

If you haven't been following the development, Quantum Knight is (ostensibly) a smaller, simpler project than TiT, a side-scrolling shoot-em-up starring the titular novice superheroine. Currently it just contains the first level, no bossfight, but with four unique game overs and the option to toggle gas content on/off.

Controls:

Arrow Keys: Movement

X: Select/Shield

Z: Back/Shoot

C: Special Attack

As always, I thank you all for your continued support in allowing me to make these bizarre games. I'm hoping with this second page I can finally reach the long-sought goal of financial stability from these game projects, ensuring I can pump out these games for a long time to come. I have far too many game ideas, frankly, many of them impractically ambitious, but just the fact that I even get the chance to work on them? It's more than I could have ever hoped for.

Thank you all.

Macroxxie Butt-Slam Grab (WIP)

Phew. This one's taking me a while, but I just wanted to share the progress I've made on it so far. Originally it was meant to be a twerking animation but... I just can't seem to figure out how to do that in my style, so its just a different sort of butt-slam now!

Enjoy! I should be able to finish this up Friday. Need to think about how to show Texas off at the end.

Macroxxie Gulp Grab

And we are back to our regularly scheduled animating! Starting with something I'm personally not a huge fan of: Vore!

Still, I can't deny it's pretty fun in this scenario, and can be done in a cartoony way that I like.

This was also my first test of animating sprites of two different sizes interacting. Basically Roxxie is animated first, then scaled up to 8x size and Texas is animated on top of her (Though she certainly doesn't come out on top). In the game they'll be two different separate animations played on top of each other, rather than one cohesive animation, which is usually the case.

I look forward to seeing what awful bugs that will cause!

Update (31/05/2) - No Streams This Week

Howdy everyone!

Well, the release of the demo seems to be going over better than I expected, and with less issues reported than I was anticipating, so I'll be sticking to my normal schedule and taking this week off from streaming. Admittedly I burnt myself out hard coding that stubborn, uncooperative roo, and, since there's no major or pressing issues to fix, I am hoping to recover a bit before diving back into animation.

With that in mind, I'll be back to work next Thursday, but until then enjoy the macro Roxxie and thank you all for your continued support!

Macroxxie Base Demo

Hey everyone!

Here is the basic macro Roxxie fight, meaning that it lacks any of the fetishy grab stuff, and mostly has stand-ins that will be updated. The orange squares on the ground that KO you in the fight? Those will be grab moves for Roxxie, and she'll have two different ones for every phase.

For now though, I hope that you enjoy the fight as it is. Tex still gets squashed plenty, and there are in fact three game over screens in this fight. I'm curious if anyone can find the secret one, because my bugtesters sure couldn't!

As always, let me know if there are any issues. I'll try to fix any big stuff over the coming week, but minor, non-game breaking bugs will probably get fixed with the next major demo, once all of Roxxie's animations are done.

Enjoy!

Update 2: Slight Change of Plans

Hey everyone,

In the update earlier today I said I was planning to release both demos by the end of this month, and split this Patreon page in two. After looking into it a little further, that isn't exactly easy to do, so I'm going to change the plan slightly. The Texas demo will be coming out this month. You can count on that, come hell or high water. The QK demo I will work a little more on, getting individual game over screens done for each enemy, and I will release that for free, publicly, early next month. I will then use that demo release to launch a separate Patreon page for the QK project, and they will officially be two separate projects.

To clear up any confusion: Going forward I always plan to have two projects going at any one time (as I have been since I started the QK project last year). My main project, which will always be on this page, and a side project, which will be on my new Patreon page, and cost less per month to support (as I only work on it two days a week, rather than three). Currently the main project is Texas in Trouble, and the side project is the unnamed Quantum Knight game. After Texas in Trouble is done (still debating adding a secret boss), I will most likely move to Time Wolf 2 as my main project, and after the QK game is done (however far down the line that is), I will likely make a point-and-click adventure game starring Texas.

Anyway, sorry for the runaround on these! Expect to see the Texas demo here in the next few days, and the QK demo on DA and FA early next month.

Thanks again everyone!

Update

Hi everyone,

Just thought I should write up a quick update because it's been a while with no activity. Really sorry about that, but I have been chipping away at coding both projects for the entirety of this month, and I am very happy to say that they are both on the cusp of completion. I just need to finish and add the game over sequence for Roxxie, and finish refining how QK's game over system works, and then both projects will be done.

With any luck, both demos will be out before the end of the month! That's my current goal, and then we can get back into animation and break this drought of content. Though if you ever want an update of how things are going, I stream Monday-Friday every week, at 9am AEST.

Speaking of the demo releases, I will soon be splitting off the QK project into it's own tiers. Given it's a smaller project, it will be a $3 tier for the art, and a $6 tier for the demo, as has been the plan from the start. With that little extra boost of income, I'm hoping I can make Patreon as a job financially viable.

In any case, I'm so sorry for how long the coding has taken this time around. The way Roxxie functioned was entirely new, and QK has been a lot of trial and error. Thank you so much for sticking with me over the course of this month, and we'll be back to our regularly scheduled squashing soon.

Thanks everyone!

Roxxie Side Slam 1

It's nice to get an animation done all in one day (and just nice to have something done that I can post on Patreon). Here's the move I settled on! It'll have an alternate version where she goes forwards into a crotch-slam rather than backwards into a butt-crush, but I'll do that Wednesday.

Enjoy!

Thanks For The Ideas!

Hey everyone!

Wow, you really all went all-out on the suggestions, and they were all wonderful! Thank you all so much for chipping in! I think I've got a solid idea now of something I at least want to try. But even if that doesn't work I've not got a whole library's worth of backup ideas! If I end up wanting even more moves for this fight, I know where to look!

You guys are fantastic.

Need One More Idea

Hey everyone!

Roxxie's going a bit more smoothly now, just had to redo some of her sprites today for the third phase of the fight. However, I have come to the conclusion that Roxxie's going to need one more move for phase three! Currently she has the gas blast and the tail slam, but something else is required, so I wanted to ask you guys if you had any ideas or anything you wanted to see her do!

For reference, phase 1 is mostly upper body-based (hands and boob slam), phase 2 has more feet and stomping, and phase 3 is primarily ass-based. So I'm more looking for ass/lower body ideas here. Though feel free to suggest others! I'm open to mixing it up.

Anyway, have a good weekend, everyone.

Quantum Knight First Boss (Megalith)

I'm meant to be adding the sounds to level 1 of the QK game at the moment, but I've been craving some more sprite stuff, so here we have the first boss of the game: Megalith! A fellow superhero who is, unfortunately, a bit of a ditz and not great at telling small flying things apart, so she mistakes QK for one of the jetpacking sheep.

But I'm sure it'll all work out in the end. What's the worst that a 30 tonne, mysterious-ancient-obelisk-wielding dinosaur superhero can do?

Update (13/04/22)

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to give you all a little status update of how both the projects are going.

Quantum Knight is in a very good place right now, with basically everything but the sound effects completed. I do need to code in the main and options menus, which can sometimes be a littttle bit of a pain, but after that I'll be sending it off to my testers and get their feedback while I work on the sound effects. And after that there should be a public demo available!

Texas is, admittedly, giving me difficulty, and I'm sorry it's been a bit of a wait. Usually the programming doesn't take as long as this, but I've never done a fight like this before, and it's throwing me a lot of new challenges to overcome. At the moment I've mostly finished phase 1 (of 3) of the fight, and am moving on to phase 2. I think I've got her basic code down at this point, so I should be able to get through phases 2 and 3 a little quicker, but I really can't make any guarantees. Roxxie has been being... very stubborn, and at times making me tear my hair out a little. But, with that said, I'm confident that I can and will get it done. Have no fear there.

As always, thank you all so much for your continued support through these drier spells, it really means the world to me. Take care of yourselves, and I hope you all have a lovely Easter long weekend (if you get one).

Thank you!

What's Next?

Hey everyone!

With this being the last portion of the Texas game, I have been considering the question of what comes next. Obviously I'll have the Quantum Knight game going on the side, but I need a new, big, main project to sink my teeth into. So here's my current ideas:

Time Wolf 2!

Time Wolf was always meant to be a much longer game, stretching through multiple time periods as you pursue a time-hopping criminal stealing various artefacts from them. Egyptian, Medieval, Wild West, Modern Day and the Future, I had plans for enemies, bosses, mechanics and game overs for them all.

Ultimately however, I started on Texas in Trouble and my attention was snatched away by that, so Time Wolf ended up only having its first level completed. Also... I cannot deny that the first Time Wolf was rough and frustrating, but learning from past mistakes and with the knowledge I've gained from TiT, I think I can improve the quality of the sequel exponentially!

It might even be fun to play!

Unnamed Stealth Game

Another concept I've been thinking about for a while is that of a stealth game. Stream attendees may have heard me mention this a few times, but it would be a 2D platformer like Mark of the Ninja, though drawing more gameplay influence from the Thief series. You would play a squirrel girl trying to prove that she's the best thief her city's ever seen, as the city itself gets more dangerous and hostile towards her and her kind. Private security companies start hiring hulking, squirrel-squashing guards, using crushing mechanical traps, and going to any lengths necessary to catch the master thief making them look bad.

Time Wolf 2 would be a relatively easy, but this would be an ambitious project, and not something I've tackled before in terms of gameplay. That being said, I have a lot of ideas and concepts in mind for it, and my hope is to make a genuinely good and engaging stealth game as well as deliver some solid kink material.

More Texas In Trouble?

The third option would be to work a little more on Texas in Trouble, probably adding one final, secret boss to the game. It would very much be kicking the can down the road on making a decision about the next project, but I do have ideas for this. I've been wanting to add a secret boss to the game since level 2, but just haven't ever managed to find the time/motivation to get the work done outside of stream hours.

In any case, those are the three options I'm currently considering. Feel free to suggest other ideas in the comments below, though this is just to measure people's opinion of what they'd like to see next. I can't actually guarantee, nor would I want to guarantee, that the winner of the poll is actually what will be the next project. But let me know what you think!

Thanks everyone!

Macroxxie Arena Trample (Updated)

I realised today as I was importing the sprites into gamemaker that I had forgotten the sweat effects on this one. So here it is, with the sweat intact!

I'll probably be coding both game projects this week, so it might be a bit of a dry one for updates, I'm afraid.
