Annual Billing & Changing Tiers
I have received a few questions regarding annual billing and what happens when upgrading your tier. According to Patreon, this is what happens:
A pro-rated credit from your initial charge will be applied to the new amount and then you’ll be charged the difference between the two tiers.
Example A: If you paid for a $120 tier and upgrade in the same month to a $140 tier, you pay $20 for the difference between the two.
Example B: If you paid $120 in April and upgrade in June to a $140 tier, only $110 from your initial pledge is left and would make your charge to upgrade $30.
Decreasing your membership is not currently available for annual billing.
The option to downgrade to a lower tier level is not currently available for annual memberships. If you'd like to join a lower tier, you can cancel your membership near the end of your membership term, and rejoin at a lower tier once your year term has finished.

I imagine this may become aggravated whenever you renew your pledge and the Patreon bot repeatedly pulls you into the server. I am sure you have good reasons for keeping your Discord account connected to Patreon despite not wanting to interact specifically with the Tombanter Audio server.
To spare you awkwardness or discomfort from the barrage of greetings received when the bot forces you into the server, we may have a solution! We can [completely reversibly] place you on the ban list, effectively preventing the Patreon bot from yanking you into there. If you ever decide to change your mind, you can always DM me here, and we can remove you from the ban list.

Most of you are aware of the recent downtime as I resolved a discrepancy Patreon had with some of my content. I purged several audios because Patreon considered them in violation of their Community Guidelines. Of the above, Untapped has the potential to come back. Although none of it is non-consensual or violent in any way, the power dynamic there was in a grey area, so I erred on the side of caution. The breadth of storytelling for The Continuum, in general, has been moving beyond sexual dynamics as a priority, so unless there is some compelling reason to portray rape or egregious/sadistic violence, I will not be exploring those scenarios in the foreseeable future.
