Now Sending More Steam Keys

Just got another 250, sending more now. It's a tedious process, bear with me!

Thanks to those who have left a review on the Steam page. It helps a lot.

Steam is released! First wave of Steam keys sent, more coming.

Hello again.

Stranded in Space is on Steam!

I just put in a request for another 250 Steam keys, and I should get them tomorrow.

Check your Patreon messages; if you didn't get one and you think you should've, you'll probably get one in the next 24 hours.

The Android version should be out within the next 24 hours, give or take.

The Patreon version will be patched with all the fixes + new main menu features in the same time frame.

Polls coming in the next 3-6 days.

I'll post more info after getting the Android version out.

Steam Release within the next 3 hours

I'll start sending keys immediately once it's out.

If any of you feel like leaving a Steam review, I'll make sure your favorite girl isn't the culprit.

Unless your favorite is REDACTED.

Speaking of REDACTED, I uploaded a few images of the new main menu options.

From the Major Decisions menu, you can edit your Major Decisions and jump right into any day you've completed with those choices. This also functions fine as a Day Replayer... so if you just wanted to play through Day 9 again and don't have save near it, this would be useful.

Lastly, the Redacted Scenes. These have to do Pandora and/or the culprit. Can be nice to have these scenes all grouped together if you're interested in the main plot of the game.

Stranded in Space Days 1-18

Some notes to read below, but first, the links. Android will be out like a day or two later like it always is. Gotta worry about them bugs.

These are the compressed versions of the game - The quality difference is not noticeable.

Stranded in Space Days 1-18 PC/Linux

Stranded in Space Days 1-18 PC/Linux - Mediafire Alternate Link

Stranded in Space Days 1-18 Mac

The Steam release will be within the next few days - I have hundreds of keys that I'm ready to send out when the time comes. I will send them via Patreon messages - I may not get everyone (it's a lot) so if you feel I missed you, please message me and we'll get it sorted out. Keys go out to longtime supporters/Elysium Tier subscribers for the months of August, September, and/or October

Day 18 has no gallery plugged in. This is because I'm overhauling it, as it's not performant. It will be fixed by the Steam launch.

As previously stated, Day 18 also has no Elysium content - This will be released at a later date in a separate patch. This is being done for a ton of reasons, the least of which is how much content Day 18 already has. Having the Steam version will mean you get all future updates for free.

Other things to look out for via the Patreon in the near future:

Girl Popularity/Enjoyment Polls
Days 19-20 Content Polls
Preview of 2nd game
And more

Hope you guys enjoy Day 18. It's freaking massive. Sorry for the delays.

There's always a discussion here or there going on in the Discord - culprit talk, drone talk, plot talk, etc. Feel free to join!

We're in the launch window

Hello.

My goal is to have it done and uploaded within the next 12 hours.

I don't foresee it taking another 24 hours.

Bear with me, this is such a stupidly big day to edit and comb through,

If your membership lapses in the next 24 hours, message me and I'll make sure you get the game. I am not trying to milk you guys, because you aren't cows.

See?

It's so close. We're almost there.

We're closing in on the launch window

Day 18 is nearly finished. I'm just taking the next week-ish to polish it + add features, as indicated in the image that's from Discord.

Writing = 95% done
Images = 99% done
Animations = 100% done
New Features = 40% done
Everything Else/Polish = 80% done

The new features I will go into more detail below, because one of them I didn't cover in the Discord post.

I like the idea of being able to swap your Major Decisions from the Main Menu. I also like being able to view them, and play the game from that moment onward. This feature will make it to the release of D18.

From the Main Menu, I like the idea of viewing the MC's Amnesia Flashback Timeline in its proper order. One of Day 17's flashbacks, for example, happen before Day 16's flashback. Being able to view the natural order + play from those scenes and onward from the Main Menu seems cool to me. There's more to this, but you'll have to wait until Day 18 drops to know more.

Last note: There will be no Elysium Content in Day 18 at launch. This is for a few reasons, the biggest of which is the game day is already too big, has too much sexual content, and it feels wasteful to add the two scenes that are next in the Elysium catalogue amongst everything else.

Among those two scenes are when the MC loses his virginity. Hard to add that amongst the other 50+ animations in Day 18. It feels like it gets lost in the shuffle.

The good news is this: If you're buying the Steam version of the game, you will always have access to the Elysium content (future and current). I plan on adding a small update likely in October that adds a few Elysium scenes, so... if anything, the Elysium content is getting a slight delay. The scenes themselves are about 65% done.

I know I'm living up to my delay reputation, but please bear with me. Day 18 is the biggest day by far and it's been a ton of work. I apologize for the setbacks.

Small Delay

Hello.

Someone call up the internet; it's that time of the update season.

I'm taking some extra days to polish up Stranded in Space for Steam release.

September 11th is the release date. I would guess somewhere around the 8th will be the release date on Patreon.

Why the delay?

In an attempt to give the Steam release the greatest chance at success, I'm re-doing/polishing up multiple animations in Days 1-8.

There is some good news:

For any of my longtime supporters AND/OR Elysium tier supporters for the month of August:

I'll be sending Steam keys to you guys; you can expect messages on Patreon in the coming weeks.

The Steam version will always have all content—Elysium included—even from future updates.

It will also have Steam achievements and cloud saves... but yeah.

I apologize for the delay—I truly am trying to make this Steam release the best it can be for future content releases. With its success, my true plans can begin.

Day 18 Preview + News

Hello there.

Here are seven images for Day 18. I had to be picky about which ones I chose because I didn't want to spoil too much.

Day 18 is a big day, my friends. I'm fairly certain it's the biggest day, in fact. For weeks now, this update has had 100% of my attention—which means my second game is currently sitting in multiple file folders with hundreds of renders, minding its own business. It's on the backburner, but I will reveal more about it after Stranded in Space's Steam launch, which is September 1st.

As far as Day 18 goes... there's a lot of sex. There's a surprise or two. There's a Major Decision. There are a few scenes that make me laugh; hopefully they will make you laugh, too. Oh, and there are a ton of split path scenes based off previously made choices. All in all, it's a great day!

Have you joined the Discord yet? I realize that this genre of game might attract its fair share of introverts, so let me assure you by saying that it's a friendly place to chat—there is no voice! I only sell it to you because I'll likely post a few more preview renders in the coming weeks, along with anything else that feels interesting in the moment. You should check it out!

Day 18 release date: End of August. I cannot miss this release date, so yeah.

Other news: I will be making adjustments to my Patreon tiers soon. I will likely be doing away with the $1 tier, this is for a few reasons.

A) Patreon highlights only 3 tiers on your landing page. I'll probably have more than 3 tiers still, just not $1.
B) $1 Tier is only for news and updates; the Discord will take the place of that. I will also be making more Public posts here on Patreon.
C) My second game + Stranded in Space 2 will offer some new benefits, highlighting different value points.

I'll likely talk about this more in a future post.

Anyway, I appreciate the support and patience. I know I say the same shit every time, but I fully expect the Steam release to catapult this game and my ability to release AVN content into a higher gear. I've got a lot of big plans, guys... it sounds ridiculous to keep saying it, I know, but it's true. My second game is gonna be crazy. Stranded in Space 2 is gonna be crazy. Days 18-21 are gonna be crazy.

Let's make a memory together.

I'm cooking, gents

Around a month before I ever released Stranded in Space, I could feel it all coming together. I felt like I had something that was good. I was confident in the game.

In other words, I could taste the spice in the meatball.

I don't know what that means, but that feeling is resurfacing.

I'm a literal kind of son of a bitch, which means that my brain works in annoying ways, and for me to be able to complete a project, it all has to make sense to me. I can't gloss over the details—story or otherwise. Why am I doing X, Y, and Z? If I can't figure it out, then I fizzle out with the idea entirely.

Well, I'm not fizzling anymore.

I'm feeling really good about this second game, and I'm also feeling really good about Day 18.

There's magic in the air, and while I can't guarantee that I'm going to get the second game out in August, it's starting to feel like a quality release, and at the end of the day, what more could I ask for? Stranded in Space comes first.

So what I DO know is that Day 18 will be out in August, and that a nice preview of it will be coming in about a week. There are some surprises within the day, not to mention some great scenes. I hope you guys have saves for Lira/Camila, Nemy/Daphne, Ariel/Haylee, and Elsie/Elsie.

I'm trust falling, somebody catch me.

My next post will be the Day 18 preview. Until then, let Elaine—the character in the image above—give you a hug.

Stranded in Space Days 1-17 Elysium - Final Version

PC-Linux Version

Mac Version

Android Version

Uncompressed PC-Linux Version

Uncompressed Mac Version

Edit at 10pm EST, July 7th: There was a known issue with the gallery unlocker cheat I mentioned below (that's also shown in one of my comments further below). I've fixed it and the links have been adjusted accordingly, so if you redownload the game it'll just work.

If you'd prefer the patch, here it is. You replace/overwrite your game_scripts.rpa file in your game folder. Note that the only bug this fixes is the gallery unlocker cheat. It is not necessary if you've downloaded from one of the links above after 10pm EST, July 7th.

Differences from Day 16 or last version of Days 1-17:

Music added
Escape Room hints system added
Days 1-8 images have all been improved
Days 1-8 writing = more consistent to subsequent days.
"Tips" menu added to main menu
All text, even unseen, can be skipped with ctrl, cmd, or hitting the skip button
Scroll bars added to all group chats and pm windows
Unscramble word game simplified
Timer removed from sliding puzzles
Paige battle minigame - HP of both MC and Paige reduced (quicker games)
Full unlocker added to gallery - it takes a little click of a dot on the screen itself

For non-Patreons (or a few Patrons, maybe?) - Stranded in Space on Steam (steampowered.com) - if you could wishlist the game, I'd be eternally grateful

Alright, this concludes our business. Blessings.

Poll: Mass Releasing Day 17 Elysium

Hello.

Now that Day 17 has been out for a while, I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts are on releasing SiS Days 1-17, Elysium version to the mass public.

Before anyone pirates the game and does this for me (thus making this poll unnecessary), know that I have one final version of Days 1-17 that I need to release today that has a few more improvements, such as adjustments to the Paige battle minigame, and fixes for various sound/text oddities.

So, what are your thoughts?

Touched by Sin Teaser Image #2 + More Info

Hello.

Here is another teaser image for Touched by Sin. I present two new characters for you to set your peepers on. I am hoping to have the game out sometime in the month of August. Fingers crossed!

One of my goals with TbS is to give the player a bit more autonomy. The difficulty with that is keeping the amount of work it requires from getting out of control. More choices mean more renders, writing, and sometimes even animations.

Excluding Paige and laptop chats, if you were to guess which three girls have the most dialogue in Stranded in Space, who would you guess? Maybe Sasha? Camila? Gigi? Skylar?

None of those girls are in the top 3 of most dialogue in Stranded in Space.

It goes Ishani, Elsie, Zara. Does that surprise you?

Ishani's numbers are a bit skewered because of the quiz she gives you on Day 17. The other two have complex split path scenes. Side note: if you haven't played Elsie's Gaia/Enlightenment route, what are you doing?!

So... choices create more work, but one of the most complained about problems with Stranded in Space is the lack of player agency. What a conundrum I find myself in!

...You know, I would be able to dedicate more time to these games if the Steam release of Stranded in Space went well.

Rumor has it that if everyone were to wishlist the game, God Herself might return...

Announcing my 2nd game: Touched by Sin

Hello!

How is everyone doing?

This post is dedicated to the announcement of my second game: Touched by Sin.

Above is an image from the base release, which is coming along nicely. I'm hoping it will be out sometime in August. Stranded in Space Day 18 will also be out in August. August is going to be a great month.

From left to right, the characters are Cerys, Misty, and Riho.

Beyond that, I won't give any more story details (for now), as I've put a lot of work into the plot.

What I will talk about is my mission with this game. It's three-pronged, like my wang (?).

1st goal - Faster Updates - Above all else, my goal with Touched by Sin is to release updates a bit faster. There are many ways I hope to achieve this: I'm implementing a different rendering style, there won't be nearly as many characters, and updates likely won't have as much playtime as a standard day in Stranded in Space. Touched by Sin won't be as wordy, and it won't have as much fluff. It's to the point and more focused. It's direct and structured in a narrow, narrative-driven manner. Since around Day 13, Stranded in Space's script files have been around 10k lines in length. I would expect an update of Touched by Sin to have around 3-6k.

2nd goal - More Choices/Control - Stranded in Space is more linear than most AVNs. This turns a fair portion of people off. Touched by Sin is changing that. From the very first release, there will be dozens of choices to make that will affect your relationship with the girls in the game. Without spoiling anything, let's just say there are variables like charname_affection. This is in line with most standard AVNs; I'm sure you understand what I mean when I say there are more choices and more control. I would caution that I'm keeping this in line with the above goal; I wouldn't expect split paths like Elsie's enlightenment/bisexuality or choosing to wake Nemy or Daphne—it's more like the choices in Touched by Sin will get additional scenes, content, or kinks.

3rd goal - Darker, More Obscene Sexual Content - I affectionately refer to Stranded in Space as a lover's AVN. It's nice, and I really enjoy the mood of the game. But as the title might imply to you, Touched by Sin is meant to go a different route. We're getting kicked out of the hood with this one, boys. Touched by Sin is a darker game with a darker plot that will descend even further into the realm of indecency as the story progresses. I'm talking about an entire tone shift here, gentlemen, and it's gonna be hard to remain gentle, men.

With all of that said, perhaps some of what I've said worries or concerns you. All I ask is that you give it a chance! The telltale signs of my work are still present; the story is interesting and well written, and the renders and animations will be good.

Last bit of news: As I did with Stranded in Space's first release, I will be putting the base game of Touched by Sin on all forums for free. This is to generate interest, of course.

After that, it'll be on the $5 tier, like Stranded in Space. I'm mulling over a few ideas for a $10 version, which may happen, but I don't want to do anything that will add more time between releases, as that's the top focus of my game.

Anyway, that about wraps up this post!

An additional preview for Touched by Sin will come around the end of the month, as will one for Stranded in Space Day 18.

To end, I'd like to say that I appreciate the support for my work. I know the updates haven't been as regular as most of you would like, but in all ways (including for Stranded in Space 2), I'm making changes to fix that. Faster updates are important to me.

TTYL.

P.S. I really think you're going to like Touched by Sin!

Stranded in Space Steam Release Date/Trailer + News

Hello.

Take a look at the Stranded in Space trailer I'm using for the Steam page. I like it; do you?!

As the date implies at the end, Stranded in Space will release via Steam on September 1st, 2023. It will have Days 1-18.

I wanted to release sooner, but I don't think it's the smartest financial decision. With the Steam Summer Sale (June 29th-July 13th) happening soon, and then the Visual Novel Sale (August 7th-14th) happening soon after, I've elected to wait.

September 1st, 2023!

Now to news, of which there is a GREAT and "damn" variety:

First, the "damn." I'm going to shoot straight with you, my Patrons, because I love you guys. Day 18 will most likely come out in early August.

I'll tell you why: The trailer took like two days to make because I'm an amateur, and Steam has been giving me crap about certain details in the build I uploaded to them. I ended up having to provide the most detailed, 5,000+ word essay about how my game has over 20+ girls, and 150+ animations. It was a mess, and if you want some bluntness, the person assigned to reviewing my build is really bad at their job. 100% they looked at the gallery and counted the total sex scenes, thinking that it was equivalent to the animation total. As if we don't do multiple animations per sex scene around here!

So, in short, I haven't been able to work on Day 18 for the past week. Believe me; I've wanted to. I'm back on track now, and there is a small chance I release at the end of July, but I wouldn't count on it. Also, there will be a preview of Day 18 in early July.

Here's the GREAT news, and I really think you guys need to get excited for this:

My second game's first release should be coming out around August, as well. I will be posting my first official preview of it in July. I really think you're gonna like it—seriously! I'll get into the specifics of why soon, but trust me when I tell you, this is some inspired, applied-lessons-learned-from-SiS work. All in all, I'll tell you like I told my ex-wife: I'm gonna make you love me again. She didn't.

...I don't have an ex-wife.

And that's about it for now, Big posts and updates are coming soon. I really appreciate the increased support. Breaking three thousand has been incredible. These next few months are gonna be huge!

SiS Endurance Days 1-17 Music Update

Hello.

First, let me lower your expectations. The music is ehhhhhh (I'm a hater).

With that said, I'd appreciate some testers for a few specific parts of the game.

Days 1-8
Escape Room - (Memory game + Hints menu added)
Day 17
Laptop Question of the Day for any days you're willing (MCs answers especially)

No one needs to test any of this, of course, but it would be a huge help. I'm trying to find the BUGS in my game.

I'm 24 hours away from sending the game to a bunch of curators, and if that goes well, I'm fairly certain the Steam release will be a success.

And if that happens, we're going to the moon, my friends. The moon, I say. I'll see you all there.

BTW these are compressed, but as I keep trying to tell you, the difference between the compressed and uncompressed versions is about as negligible as consent on prom night.

That was a Sasha throwaway line I didn't put into the game. Are these bad jokes working for anyone?

PC-Linux Version

Mac Version

P.S. I'll eventually do an Android version, but since Steam doesn't respect phone users, my next few days will be focused on the versions above.

Final Thoughts On SiS Music

Hello again.

I would estimate that sometime in the next 36-72 hours I will upload a new version of Stranded in Space, Days 1-17. This version will have all the previously mentioned improvements, the most noticeable of which is music.

I want to quickly talk about my thoughts related to the music in the game because I'd really appreciate some feedback from those who download the new version with music. With music, I'm much more willing to change things or adapt, based off of feedback.

The music in SiS is, for the most part, divided into two categories. It's either for general scenes or sex scenes. Here is what to expect from the general scene music and my reasoning behind it.

Outside of sex scenes, there is no "mood" specific music. There is no happy, sad, angry, or funny music. It's all space-themed, quiet, ambient music. Why?

Reason 1: over 50% of you said you don't listen to music when you play SiS. In my research, that percentage tracks outside of my game, as well. In my estimation, about half of AVN players don't listen to music while they play AVNs. That's to say nothing about some of you who will just mute the music when you get in game and play your own stuff—which is completely fine with me! I love that, in fact.

Reason 2: I'm very serious about the story and narrative of SiS. Music can be distracting if it's not done perfectly, and I already struggle with deadlines. To sync Lira's "I have a disease" reveal scene to sad, then somewhat "positive/hopeful" music at the end would take too much of my time. I'm too picky; I'd never find the right music.

Reason 3: SiS is almost entirely scene based. Most AVNs that do have music, have it during the "free roam" parts of the game. Like when you're on the world map, or when you're navigating around a house, or when you're playing a minigame. There is music for the escape room and laptop sections of the game, but beyond that, SiS is like 90% scene based. Most AVNs don't play music during non-sex dialogue.

Closing, Reiterative Thought: Music, if it's not perfect, can really ruin scenes that don't involve sex. Most music tells a story; the 30 second mark of a track can feel vastly different than the 1:30 part, even if the entirety of the track itself can accurately be described as "Sad."

If you're learning about Alina's daughter, and there's a "lift/build/crescendo" in the sad track that plays at the wrong part of the scene, it distracts you. It pulls you out of the scene. I don't like that.

So... outside of sex scenes, the music is subtle and quiet. It's meant to blend into the background. It's meant to barely be noticeable. It's just there to fill the silence.

The sex scene music is different, and I like it. It has character. It has style. It has feeling. Like my father, it'll punch you in the mouth when you're not looking (???).

There's not much else to say about it; I like it, and I hope you like it, too.

Anyway, as I bolded above, I'm open to feedback. When it comes to the music in SiS, nothing is set in stone.

Stranded in Space Updates Clarification

I just want to clarify a few things from my last post.

First, Patreon will always get game updates for all my games. This goes for all versions—this Patreon will likely be the only place to get mobile versions of any of my games. But to repeat: ALL versions of all my games will be updated on this Patreon.

Stranded in Space has always been something I've planned to release in three parts.

Stranded in Space 1 = Days 1-21. Day 21 is when Pandora arrives.

Then comes Stranded in Space 2, which will have several days as well.

Why split the game up? For many reasons, here are a few:

Game size - No one wants to download a 20GB AVN game. Ren'py mobile versions are limited to being 2GB in size. Right now, SiS is about 1.6 gb.

Manageability - This could be broken into multiple parts, but it's getting increasingly harder to develop SiS due to how many script files there are and how inefficient the systems I've put in place are that were put in from the beginning. I've built a house of cards, and a lot of what I do now is stack things on top of the house when what I need to do is destroy the house and rebuild using concrete.

Improvements - I bolded this one because it's the most vital. There are so many improvements coming to Stranded in Space 2. The focus behind most of those improvements is FASTER updates. This somewhat relates to the manageability point above, but yeah, there are a ton of good changes coming to Stranded in Space 2.

Not updating my games on Itch is being done for two reasons: taxes and the disrespect Leafo, the site owner, has shown me and several other game devs. He withheld several thousand of dollars from me for nearly 5 months and changed the rules of Itch on a moment's notice without any warning, discussion, or explanation. and overall hasn't been helpful or sympathetic to anything going on regarding AVN devs who got hit with the Payouts ban.

So... to summarize:

Patreon will always get game updates on all my games. I'm not going anywhere.

Stranded in Space 1 is just the beginning. If you could see what I'm already doing with Stranded in Space 2 right now... it's gonna be good.

Itch is the only website not getting any more updates.

Day 18 + Steam + Itch news

Greetings and salutations. There's a lot of news in this post... and thus, a lot of writing. I'm just keeping everyone updated on what's going on.

First, I appreciate the increased support from the release of Day 17. I hope you enjoyed the Day. I particularly enjoyed putting together Ishani's questionnaire.

Day 18 is coming along nicely. My hope (and not my guarantee) is that I get it out at the end of July. Could it be within the first week-ish of August? Possibly. There is a ton of content in Day 18... it's a lot. For me personally, I think Day 18 is my favorite so far.

Here's the news on the Steam release:

In roughly five days' time, I will have submitted and uploaded the build that will be used in the Steam release. It will then be reviewed by their review team. How long that will take is anyone's guess. Afterwards, I will submit the game to a few curators. Here's hoping they like it.

My current estimate is that the Steam release will happen in late July. I know, I know. Me and estimates, right? Here's why it's a good estimate: there's a visual novel sale starting on August 7th, and I would very much like to have my game available to be purchased during that sale.

Sometime in the next week or so, I will upload the Steam build version here on Patreon. There are numerous improvements that have been made, I'll list just a few below.

Music.
Nearly every image in D1-D8 has been either redone or improved.
Writing in D1-D8 has been improved, both for the laptop sessions and the days themselves. It is more consistent and fitting, particularly for a few characters.
Escape room is easier to understand, complete, and enjoy.

With that said, beyond the music, I wouldn't call the experience vastly different. If I were to recommend a fresh playthrough of the game at any point, it would be when I release Days 19-20. Why then? Who knows?

I've said this before, but a successful Steam release would be incredibly beneficial for this game and all future ones that I make. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to exclusively work on these things. At the very least, faster updates would be a guarantee.

For the Itch news — Sometime in July, I will release Stranded in Space Days 1-16 for free. No longer am I uploading any paid versions to the website. It will sit at Days 1-16 for the foreseeable future, receiving no updates or additional days.

I'm probably forgetting some Steam release information, but this is where I'll end the post for now.

Again, I appreciate the increased support for the game. Day 18 is gonna be a good one. I'll post more about its progress before June ends.

Hey, what's sleep like?

Here's a picture of Kasumi that won't be in the game for reasons that can be solved via looking at her laptop profile.

I'm in the process of finishing it all up. It'll be out somewhere between May 31st-June 7th. That's official.

I haven't concretely provided a date yet until now, but I'm still here to suck up all the disappointment.

:(

Maybe I can finish it up by May 31st, but quality is important to me and there's some cool shit in this day that I want to get perfect. I think you'll quite enjoy it.

Most of you who are subscribed to me are setup in a way where you're billed on the day you subscribed—so a super early June release won't affect you.

Anyway... I'm working hard, there's a lot going on.

As of now, I would be surprised if I get Day 18 out in June. It's likely very early July.

I still have a new game that's in the works, and a Steam release that I'm angling to get out in late July.

You know I love you guys, right?

Day 17/18 Update

Hello.

How can you not like Kasumi?!

Anyway, the process of putting all of this together is going well. For Day 17, there's good news and perhaps slightly bad news.

I'm currently finishing up the Elysium scenes for Day 17. There's a small chance only one scene makes it to release in May, but by the time Day 18 arrives there will be a total of 4 added Elysium scenes between the two days, and those can be played from the Main Menu, so it is what it is. The Elysium scenes are ambitious!

That's the bad news.

The good news is that I really believe a release is happening before May is over. I feel good about my chances. Day 17 is pretty huge; each scene is a bit bigger than my average, so that's pretty cool. There's also something fun/unique in one of the scenes, I'm excited to see people experience it. Think the Culprit-Yoga scene with Paige in Day 9, only better (in my opinion!).

Here's the Day 18 news—it's got a lot of content, and I mean a lot. I'm also fairly certain it's got the most sexual content of any day in the game. I'll be trying my hardest to get that day out in June, and I suspect I will, but it's impossible to know right now. I feel my chances are good, but I felt I should post about it here and now, just in case.

I'm desperately trying to finish up the sound so I can get this game on Steam! It's really close.

I appreciate the increased support due to the anticipated release month; know that I'm working really hard at getting content out on this Patreon over the next few months.

On track for releases in both May and June + News

Hello.

I'm in the midst of putting everything together for Days 17-18.

Here's what it looks like for now, though I don't want to give an exact release date yet.

It's looking like towards the end of May will be Day 17 and early to mid-June will be Day 18.

There are multiple good reasons why I'm doing this—some are obvious, like I'm also working on another game—but one reason I haven't talked a lot about revolves around how much sexual content there is in each day.

Day 18 might have the most sexual content of any day, and Day 17 isn't any SLOUCH in that department, either. I feel like it's easier to appreciate a ton of sexual content with a separation in days, in this instance. You can probably imagine why!

As work continues on the Steam release, sound, and the new game, I'm going to start posting some developer logs for >= $10 subscribers, as indicated in the Patreon benefits, which I quote, "Behind the scenes posts with unreleased content, cancelled ideas, thoughts on state of game, and anything else that isn't status updates on the next release."

These are not vital to see nor am I trying to create FOMO, it's just going to be a place to see some extra information about how I'm structuring both Stranded in the Space and my other game.

Last bit of news: The support has been so freaking steady these past few months. I normally do one $20 Elysium scene per in-game day, but for Days 17-18, I'm going to do two per day. I just like adding value to the game, and I want to show extra-appreciation for those that are supporting Stranded in Space at the Elysium tier.

I'll post more information about the exact release of Days 17-18 sometime later this month.

Thanks for supporting the game!

Itch.io News + Days 17-18 Update

Hello.

Unfortunately, Itch. io has decided to basically remove me (and other adult devs) from legally making money on their website.

The reasons for this are obvious and bullshit, but I won't get into them here.

Itch. io accounted for about 35-40% of Stranded in Space's income in 2022, so you can imagine how frustrated I am.

With that said, I'm hoping the Steam release and my additional game help in that department.

As it looks, I'm banking on releasing Day 17, at the very least, in May. Maybe I will be able to do both days—that's what I'm aiming for—but I'm not making any promises. A very realistic scenario I could foresee is releasing Day 17 around late May, Day 18 in early June, and then my new game in July. Essentially, I'd like to have content released on Patreon over the next three months.

I would imagine the Steam release happens in June or July.

The update itself is going quite well. There's a lot of content as usual, and plenty of sex scenes. I'm quite excited about how it's turning out.

Other than that, the support towards the end of this month has been very appreciated. My numbers haven't dropped all that much and given the recent Itch news; I can't express how grateful I am.

Next month I may have a preview of the new game, and I really think you're going to like it!

Days 17-18 Preview

Hello.

Here are 10 images from Days 17-18.

There's a lot of content in these two days; we're nearing the end of the first release of Stranded in Space. As has been the custom, you can expect several scenes in the update, particularly sexual ones. There're quite a few more unique scenes based on previously made choices, as well. When you factor threesomes and unique route content, I don't know who else is putting this much effort into their AVN—the animation count of Stranded in Space is nearing 200+!

Beyond that, I appreciate everyone's patience. I'm still not happy with the length of time between releases, but I still genuinely believe they will improve over the next few updates + the release of my other game.

As I've said since January, I know 2023 is going to be a big year for Stranded in Space.

I hope you'll stick around!

Preview of Days 17-18 coming in a few days

Hello.

I figured I'd update everyone since it's been a while since my last update.

I'm just finishing up the enormous number of animations for Days 17-18.

I've also began working on a secondary project. I'm making sure not to let it interfere too much with the Stranded in Space work. It's something different and it's something interesting—I'm excited to share more about it in the coming months. The game will be available on this Patreon, of course.

The sound work continues for the Stranded in Space Steam release, but it's getting closer and closer.

There's a massive amount of content for Days 17-18, so here's the current best assessment of the release window: Mid to Late May. I want to be up front before April renewals for obvious reasons.

There's a lot happening in the coming months that I'm quite excited about. I want to thank you guys for supporting during the off months. It keeps me working tirelessly.

I'll see you in a few days for the Days 17-18 update preview!

Poll #4 (Music)+ Results of Additional Sex Scene Poll

After a close tally (adjustments made for tiers), the winner of the Additional Sex Scene is:

Lira!

Here's the unadjusted numbers—higher tiers get more votes, it's not as close as the unadjusted figures, but still... Gigi wasn't far behind.

With that said, the winner is Lira, and so there will be 2 sexual scenes with her in the next update.

There will be one more content related poll after this one (poll #4), so... yeah!

For now, I want to know what music you listen to while playing Stranded in Space, if any. I'm interested in the primary theme of it; what genre of music does it fall under?

I'm in the process of listening to hundreds of tracks and trying to make the right decisions for music in the game, so your input will help immensely.
